I'm looking forward to the day when I'm good enough to play this.

you there yet?

@mysteriousd2051 Sadly no, but thanks for asking. I have been focusing on the Palmer Hughes books and am just starting number 3. These song videos were fun but I didn't feel like I was really learning anything. I'm sure if I practiced this every day I'd have it down but I feel I'm getting more from the books and reading the music instead of parroting the video. If you play I hope your enjoying your progress.

Thank you for your demonstration and explanation! When melody on right hand piano style keyboard manual only played without accompaniment on left hand button type manual it sounds like mouth-harmonica. When melody with addition of two more notes lower on right hand piano style keyboard manual with single bass note buttons on left hand button type manual it sounds like woodwind quartet and when melody on right hand piano style keyboard manual with harmonic rhythm of bassline with chord progression on left hand button type manual simultaneously it gives the effect of woodwind quintet. When played as duplication of same copy of melody on both left and right hand side with addition of more notes to make chords on both the sides it gives the effect of woodwind sextet and septet. Even if electronic keyboard imitates the voice and effect of accordion it can't beat the real accordion. I like accordion for it is versatile musical instrument.

to play a B7 on a 48 bass accordion, would it make it using counter B and Dmajor chord? otherwhise how can i do it? i dont have a B row so...
@libertybellows8 жыл бұрын
The closest thing I can think of is to play B in the counterbass and C diminished (C, D#, A). It's actually a B7b9 but will sound closer than B + Dmajor which is a Bm7

hi Sebastian , I play 48 bass as well and I've been using B and F# in the counter bass plus A , and it sounds close enough :)(all of this 3 are just bass notes and need to press them together) Hope it helps

Why couldn't you just play the minor chord and then play the m7th in the bass note? So to play F#m7 play the F#m button plus the E bass button?
@Donaldbeebi4 жыл бұрын
I dont think it sounds good with a m7 in the bass, but you certainly can play that as a min7 chord
