I always used the 'mirror image' method for one cushion escapes.Imagine a mirror image of the table and aim for the snookered ball on the imaginary table.As an example place the cueball on the black spot and aim at the blue spot on the imaginary table....the cueball will bounce off the cushion and go over the blue spot on the real table.Give it a go !It works by geometry...a snooker table is two 6ft. squares.Two snooker tables side by side are a 12ft square.

Good video, Cliff, can you show us how to aim this shot when object ball is NOT frozen on the rail? In pool we use mid-point parallel shift system. I tried your method, it did not work out, especially when the cue ball and object ball are ON THE SAME vertical distance from the bottom long rail.

It is worth mentioning again that any markers such as the chalk or any other objects left on the rail or table surface as markers are not allowed, this includes making marks with the chalk, which a referee in a pro game would call a foul for. However if there are marks there from previous play you can sometimes use these as a reference visually and that is ok.

Hi Cliff, Where did you film this video?
@AndrewDixonMusic9 ай бұрын
Surely this system only works if the cue ball is close to 45 degrees between the baulk cushion and the cushion you're wanting to hit? If for example the cue ball had been on a line between the green pocket and black spot then the equal measurements system wouldn't work. Of course I'm not questioning a world champion, just saying that this system is good only if the white is along a particular trajectory.

Cliff's piss take of Bad Snooker Made Easier reminds me of Leslie Neilson's Bad Golf Made Easier.. was funny to watch but of course was filmed silly like this with absolute pointless or needless advise that just made you enjoy playing bad.. Skills is an enjoyment, win attributes to destiny and destiny can be improved. For instance, at the age of 90, you could not played as good as 30, thus it is not reality , reality cannot be subjected to age

cud hit the cushion in loads of places with side, it depends on where you want object and cue balls to go..🤷♂️.. btw that chalk costs fortunes..🥺😂
