@@johnston.scott64 you decided to comment this why? Because it was helpful? Because you had something useful to say? Because I said something incorrect? @@paxtongerhart6863 does the show the idiots who actually watch this video, that they don't need this video. And if they do they're idiots and they shouldn't even be holding an instrument in their hands to begin with. @@johnston.scott64 did you pick up the guitar immediately knowing the pentatonic scales, or how to play barre and power chords? Did you know the basics right out the gate? Probably not. If you didn’t need the information, good. I’m glad you are a superior musician and like everyone to know that. I’ve been playing most of my life and have no problem admitting that there are a lot of dudes waaaaay better than me. I learned Power-Chords and Palm muting at the same time when I started playing guitar, after learning Come As You Are's riff, because I sweared myself I would learn Smells Like Teen Spirit even if it was really hard. Now it seems really easy to me and I finally can play some Metallica's and Slipknot's songs.

@@welpiguess I've been learning with videos almost since I started, but I also went to guitar classes. They were folk classes and I like metal, but I also learned useful techniques. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I've been learning with a teacher for a year until COVID-19 arrived to my country and the classes stopped, then I continued with You Tube. What I'm trying to say is that you can pay a tutor to learn, but I think there's no need of stop learning from You Tube also. You said the advices you received were dogshit, something I've done to start learning guitar was learn the open chords, the Power-Chords and try to learn Nirvana songs (Nirvana has some really easy songs) watching videos with Tabs. Since you learn to read tablatures, it's easier to learn with videos. I hope this words are useful for you.
