My favorite neighbors just moved to Florida and as they were packing up the u haul gifted me her digital piano she taught lessons on…I have wanted to learn Vanessa’s first single since I was a junior in high school after getting my first car, a white Hyundai Elantra and played this single which dropped on my birthday in 2002 off ‘Be not nobody’…the more keys I’m learning the more the memories flood in. I used to play Keyboard back in school for a little while. I was no professional and I know that it's not exactly the same thing as Piano, by a long way. But I have to say, this tutorial really helped me learn with the right hand. I'm struggling to co-ordinate the left but that's only after say 30 minutes- 1 hour? Without the screen now too, so thank you. I hope this helps me get the girl of my dreams back after I fucked up.

But, come on, this piece is really easy and if you are practicing with 1/4 of the original speed you should be able to play it kind of after some hours. This person describes that its impossible but even with small hands its not. If everyone is getting confused by how he plays a slightly different version in the beginning, why don't you listen to the actual song to supplement the lesson? In the song, she doesn't toggle with the low B during the first and third phrases. For whatever reason, he does. It doesn't sound bad, but it's not the way she does it in the song. I like the original way because it adds an extra element of change. Solid lesson though! Learned it this morning😀

Although I've been playing guitar and trumpet on and off for over 40 years, I just started playing piano 2 months ago. I find this just about right. The slow demonstrations are slow enough to get it and it let's you understand how the normal tempo sounds the way it does. The only thing I would like to see is maybe 3 or 4 progressions in tempo going from the very slow demonstration to a little faster each time until the 4th pass is normal tempo. Overall, this is well done from my point of view.

Paige Hallam If your fingers don't reach on a keyboard then try raising your wrist more, otherwise try and touch the tip of the lower B and you might be able to reach the higher octave B and it becomes easier after that stage
