CORRECTION! There IS an AoE Ability for Jesters, but that's only after you reach level 100. I completely overlooked that they added new skills for level 100 for each advanced job in Flyff Universe. You can check this skill out in flyffipedia.com by searching for the skill called "Jester's Blast". My apologies for the misinformation! Hope this encourages more people to pick Jester :)

Thanks for the guide homie, you answered a lot of shit I was wondering when it comes to acrobat. When I was a kid I played bow jester, currently I’m grinding an acro on my phone in my free time and having a decent amount of fun. My only problem with flyff universe is that it’s nothing like flyff used to be. Basically everyone AND their best friends just have a bot or a second account following them with an fs assist. I was doing it myself for a while but it just became annoying and it’s really not how I want to play the game/what I loved about the game to begin with. It’s really a shame that at level 41 I can’t shout to the world that I need an fs assist to accompany me because none of them exist. Basically nobody actually mains assist in this meta or day and age whatever you want to call it, and as a result I’m putting myself at a massive disadvantage just not having 2 accounts following me at all times. I really wish that the community would ban this out right to force people to have to actually main assist roles instead of everyone in the fucking world just creating 2 accounts and progressing through. It not only creates a bad look for the game as a player, but also as a spectator potentially being willing to hop in and start this journey. Anyways thanks for the video man much love -Lainthewired

Glad the video was helpful to you, that's exactly what they're there for! :) The case of multiboxing is admittedly pretty awful in Flyff and I wish it was the other way around, but it doesn't help that Flyff Universe has in fact allowed making second accounts without repercussions simply because there's no way to monitor if there's multiple characters under the same IP due to VPNs and other encryption systems. Disabling that would also be damaging by itself because multiboxing has been relevant in the Flyff community for many years due to the dropped popularity of the original game and because private server communities were also comparatively tiny, so finding partners at the time was difficult. Even if this no longer was the case, a lot of the active veterans would find it difficult to suddenly play normally again, which at the same time is dumb but woefully understandable. The truth to the matter is, it'd be a completely viable choice to just NOT make a separate RM account, but most of the people don't want to bother with looking for a partner due to how much time it takes (a self-feeding paradox) and because of how necessary RMs become further down the game. But most importantly, old habits die hard :/ At least in Totemia where I play, there are still a bunch of dedicated RM mains who are actively looking for leveling partners in towns and the chance to make connections still lives, but it's agreeably much harder than it should be. This also becomes more common further down the road, maybe when you start to be somewhere around your 60s. So don't give up, keep looking for partners to play with, maybe you'll end up with a lifelong companion at some point! Since you aren't the only one who's bummed about the increasing independence of the players :)

for me DEX & STA, because STR is just almost similar to DEX. max out DEX first and add the rest to STA
@emenalus5 күн бұрын
This is specifically for bows I presume? Because depending on the weapon of choice, the stats have different relevance. If it's a bow, STR is meaningless and you should by all means put as much as you can into DEX. Adversely, with yoyos it's important to find a balance between STR and DEX so you won't be just fast and dealing no damage or high damage with low speed and accuracy. Neither of the acrobat subclasses however are tanky by design - STA has varying effects and values for each class, and for Ranger/Jester in particular this value isn't exactly impressive. This is why for example you might see most Ranger "tanks" go for more HP% bonus stats rather than actual STA - it just doesn't do that much. And since DEX offers more block and parry rate, it's debatable whether STA is worth it to go for to begin with. For Jesters, you'd wanna focus as much as you can on putting your points on DEX and STR so you can reach your ideal potential as soon as possible. The approach however would be yours to make x)

Hello, what is that empty second HP bar on top of the Acrobat Character?
@emenalus11 ай бұрын
It's a casting bar for charging an attack by holding down left-click (or attack) on an enemy, something that was originally exclusive to Magicians :) It's a very ineffective method for fighting though, so I wouldn't pay much mind to it!

can you do also for jester? im focusing in dex stats
@emenalus Жыл бұрын
I have a Jester preview near the end of the guide, you can see some example stats in there! How Jesters function in general is that your damage is extremely focused on your crits, and you'll have to find the right balance between STR and DEX for damage, attack speed and crit rate (and you get 4% Crit per 10 DEX as a Jester!) What the balance means can vary a lot between players due to different budgets in gear. Based on that and your preferences, try finding the right balance for you and perhaps consider using jewelry for additional leverage towards DEX or STR, depending on which seems to be lacking more! You likely won't be able to reach 100% Crit rate at first, but that'll come in time - just focus on making your character work from the get-go and build from there ^^ Let me know if you still have any concerns!!

@@emenalus and also if i have pet, if i die my pet will die too?
@emenalus Жыл бұрын
@@jasonbangcoyo5434 Fortunately not, they made pets fundamentally different in Flyff Universe! First of all, there are no risks to dying with your pet active. Your pet will not lose HP, Exp or anything, so no need to feel reserved! Second of all, pets are a lot more relaxed than they used to. Health is now counted down in minutes, not seconds, and even the F tier Pet can go for three hours without being fed. Dropping their health to 0 doesn't kill them off either, but instead they just will not grant you their buff until you feed them again. So don't be afraid to use your pet, and feel free to develop them if you have the money to invest! :)

What is the best job for newbie player?
@emenalus3 ай бұрын
This... is a topic that's hard to give an easy answer to, but I'll try to make this as brief as possible while taking all possibilities into account :x If you didn't want to go out of your way to make an extra support character, I'd go suggesting between a bow Acrobat and any form of a Magician for starters as they tend to be very self-sufficient and work really well even with rundown budget gear. They're also generally fun to play, bow acrobats (Rangers) being really popular for all forms of combat and mages being a pretty strong pick for 1v1 at early levels and make for decent AoE characters later down the game :) If you DID go for a support however, you could think more from the perspective what's affordable rather than actually playable, and having buffs and maybe even heals makes the worlds difference: - For 1v1, most auto attack classes need high hit rate to be functional which is why I wouldn't recommend these without a support or really good gear, but with a support their shortcomings should be mostly accounted for. Blades (one of the Mercenary advanced classes) are the most expensive class out there, which is why I wouldn't recommend this as you're starting out, and Rangers too if you're looking for good gear can cost a pretty penny. For more affordable classes though, I'd look into possibly building yourself a 1v1 Assist (-> Billposter), a 1v1 Mercenary (-> Knight) or even a 1v1 Yo-Yo Acrobat (-> Jester). - For AoE, tanking a bunch of mobs is very health draining and food usually won't cut it later on so having a healer with you would be highly recommended. If you think you can handle healing on top of buffs while tanking or even get a partner to heal for you, an AoE class can be a viable option too! AoE in general is really cheap so any class with a toolkit for AoE would work, but for beginners I'd recommend AoE Knights for their high tankiness or alternatively AoE Billposters for being highly durable with a good survival toolkit. You could even make yourself an AoE Ringmaster (the support class) with some STA and tank gear mixed in, so you could have the buffs and heals all in one package ;) Although of course at the cost of the effectiveness of your buffs. Your choice! If you've got any further questions, don't hesitate to let me know ^^

@@emenalus i think i will play between mage or archer. I still confused because i will play solo leveling because my time for playing can not determined. Can you give advice about my choice?
@emenalus3 ай бұрын
@@fuzzywuzzy4904 There are respective guides for both, the Acrobat guide that you're on right now if you wanna go for bows and the Magician guide if the casters intrigue you! But there's a couple things I can of course impart with you :) Important thing to know about bow Acrobats in general is that unlike most other auto attacking classes, you purely build yourself with DEX. With other ones it'd typically be STR and maybe some DEX for supporting stats, but bows get both damage and utility from this stat. You should build this as much possible. Acrobat/Rangers also build crit rate, attack speed and block rate with this pretty quickly, making you pretty much able to withstand most encounters pretty easily. You could even get to tanking some monsters with your block rate, presuming you have appropriate gear to make yourself tanky enough! But that's much later on - like I said, this class can be pretty expensive but even the most basic gear will work :> Magicians on the other hand are mostly built with INT for spell damage and maximum MP. The thing is that they're VERY strong at the beginning but spells don't scale as well as regular attacks do. Eventually 1v1 approach becomes quite underwhelming and getting to AoE playstyle is preferred. For mages however since they are ranged, they have the opportunity to do AoE from afar without being hit, and this is called Hit and Run (HnR) playstyle - with that, you can still hold onto high INT stat without sacrificing points for STA, assuming the playstyle suits you and your internet is decent enough so latency won't cause you any problems. If the HnR approach doesn't appeal to you or work out, one of the advanced Magician classes, Psykeeper, also comes with a viable toolkit for tanking monsters. This would however still mean that you'd need a healer from somewhere, so use it at your own risk x) As for your confusion from what I said earlier, it's a generally known fact that in this game multiboxing or logging multiple characters is possible. A lot of people opt in to make their own support characters along with their mains to make their life easier AND to not have to deal with looking for a leveling partner as buffs are highly lucrative in this game. Whether you wanna do that or not is up to you ^^

Rangers got reworked so that Bow Jesters don't make any sense anymore. Rangers are able to achieve 100% crit rate now thanks to getting 2% Crit Chance per 10 DEX instead of 1 and also they seem to scale better with bows. Before Flyff Universe released, one of the devs shared a video where they compared the damage between a bow jester and a ranger with maximum gear at 1.0. Ranger was dealing noticeably better DPS. Here's the video if you'd like to see for yourself :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3qon4l9rN10jbs
