This song inspired me so much to write stuff like this! I never even thought about writing this kind of stuff on any guitar, let alone a seven or eight string. It really opened my eyes to an all new style, and an all new method.

I know I'm super late to the party, but I just wanted to say that Anchor is one of the most beautiful songs ever. There's a kind of "pretty dissonance", if you will, to the way the notes ring out against each other. It adds a whole new dimension to the song. You've successfully made me want to get an 8-string.

I honestly haven't had a very big interest in getting an 8-string guitar. It just seems like it isn't my thing as I am really fine with my 6-string. But I find this song to be so gorgeous its almost inspiring and makes me want to buy an 8-string. I think I am convinced haha. Thanks for the video!

What a beautiful song for 8 string... I was trying to adapt it to a 7 string, and having lot of trouble till I realized u are in a diff tuning kinda open tuned on the low 4 and closer to standard fifths on high strings... Maybe I'm wrong. Either way amazing song thanks for the lesson! 👍

Those are the standard Schecter pickups that come with the guitar. I have the same one, and they look like the stock pickups. They're the only weakpoint on this guitar, and I'll replace them down the road, too muddy and need a lot of EQ tweaks.
