I like these tips, and i think they work for beginners. However, especially with cortex, i see a lot of people not understand the true potential of characters. I'm a cortex main and his best move is easily the animal conversion which you complety forgot. I see a lot of people underrate cortex because they forget his moveset. Cortex can do close range, mid range and far range combat. He can score, boost and block. He is actually a better blocker than all the blockers are. I definitely think you should re look at cortex because he is the best character in the game.

Yeah I was beating myself up for not doing the animal transformation because that's a big part of his skill. I think he's extremely good and I agree, I think in terms of people that are elite with characters, if you're elite with cortex you're basically unbeatable 😂

@@PodcastNow Yeah, i'm glad you understand what I mean. For a beginner cortex is extremely difficult to pick up and play, but if you're good with cortex, that's something different entirely, which is probably why he has the highest difficulty rating in the game. 😂

I found cortex one of the best very quickly when I played as him and I love his transform shot though having played against it I know how annoying it is too lol. Cortex and Catbat are 100% the best characters right now

If you're a blocker with ntropy you can use the gravity slam to knock players back and slow them down that abilities is useful for gem pads

Catbat is my favourite often in a round I can be top blocker, top scorer and top booster or usually just 2 of those but a super flexible character

Everybody’s job is to do gem pads. More people need to realize that. 95% of games, in my experience, are determined by which team is getting the most score boosts.

I main tawna and i can kill most characters easily specially dingo and sometimes n tropy just use the grapple to attack not just to run away it is very strong cuz it stuns the enemy then you can press circle then get away and in again with the grapple just keep using her hook shot
