Even though I'll probably never learn the accordion, it's so interesting to learn how different instruments are designed. The standard tuning of a guitar, the black and white keys on a piano, all those buttons on the accordion, the pedals on a harp, the holes on a harmonica, the valves of a trumpet, and the holes and keys of a clarinet. They're all things that can seem almost arbitrary... until you try playing the instrument.

how do you know which base to play and when to switch to different one in a song.
@hollytaylor16554 жыл бұрын
Vince Dumbovic I play piano and basic chord structure for many songs is I IV V. So if your in the key of C the I chord in C, the IV chord is F, and the V chord is G. So many songs use those 3 chords in their respective keys.

Peefect flow of info for me. But "follow my fingers" doesn't work. You have four fingers on the board with little depression range. Maybe highlight and add the tones you are playing. Just a tip. I got lost at the end. I used to give guitar lessons, so I know how hard it can be. I dont fully understand the bass board enough to be working off finger sight with 120 keys, is all. Thanks though. This lesson has been more helpful than a few others I've seen to begin.

I can't follow where you are placing your fingers clear enough 😪 All I see is that there's movement SOMEWHERE around your fingertips, but I can't figure out which buttons you're holding down.. 😔

Problem is that my left hand wants to press the notes simultaneously with the right hand. So if there is 3 fast notes with the right hand my left hand follow that tempo. 😂 ok it is still day 3 in my learning curve so hopefully it will get better.

It is not diminished chord. If you push C with last button it sounds like Cm6 chord..If you only push last button without C, yes it is diminished chord but ''Adim'' chord..

Moving in the flat side is still circle of fifths. Not really thought of as fourths.

Not explaining how to play, just explaining what is where. And you can find that by searching for Standard bass on google.
