I’m new to bloodbowl and wondered why nobody plays or talks about it at all so I decided to purchase a second season edition box and I gotta say with this guide teaching me the basics I’m having a blast playing it. Can’t wait to learn how to play the leagues. Good work 👍

I live in a rural area, BFN in the middle of the bible belt. So I haven't got too many places to play Blood Bowl and not many people have even heard of it. My plan is to save money from my job and move closer to the city so I can be closer to my locally owned games shop and hopefully either find a local league or find people interested in playing so I can create the local league myself.

My BB 2nd season just turned up. I am a complete noob, so l subbed. I'm sure your videos will be invaluable to me over the next few weeks as l'm building a team to tour next spring against utube buddies from the 40k Ork community. 15:23 Doesn’t the stunned goblin get turned face up at the end of their next turn. Way it was put in makes it as if he flips over after that turnover, and then could start moving their next turn as if like he went only prone. Needs to have a full turn of being stunned, so out of action for one of their turns. And then 2 turns later can get up for 3 movement and do other actions.

the goblin was stunned on nobility turn 1, so misses the orc turn 1, then flips at the end of their turn. They can activate in the orc turn 2.

At 12:30, wouldn't choosing both down cause a turnover? I believe the rules state that being placed prone causes a turnover now, which seems to differ from the rules prior to this from what I understand

Hi Aspen, placed prone is still not a turnover, which is why wrestle is fun!

at the 12:30 mark, because your activated player is knocked down, shouldn't this cause a turn over? or is it different due to the skill?

hi, wrestle is a skill where both players are "placed prone", so no turnover.

Hi Fabian, to be honest this is a carry-over from previous rules, but my understanding is this is an omission and will be in a GW FAQ at some point.

How different is the video game from the table top game?

BB2 is 2016 rules, and BB3 is supposed to drop this year sometime, which will be 2020 rules. If you learned using BB2, it would take you no time at all to make the switch, and you might not even notice the difference until you got into the detail.

Hi Jeff, it sort of does, yes. They won't be able to be used in tournaments, but most BB is played in local leagues, so it will be up to the commissioner what they use. Bit of a shame!

The premise of this game is incredible, I played it once with a friend years ago, but lied when he asked if I understood the rules. I bought the video game a few years back but the game never actually explained how the stats worked, so I played a lot of the game half blind. This video cleared up So much for me. Thank you!
