really good cover thanks! But for those struggling with the barring of the 3rd fret (its a tricky chord shape), you can tune your bottom string back to standard E and fret the bottom string (3rd fret) with your index finger and creating a sort of A chord shape with your remaining fingers underneath, also on the 3rd fret. The modified F/C Chord at the end can also be played quite easily by just moving that bottom string down two frets again!

thanks man! i was trying to learn this song by ear for awhile. first i figured out a way to play it with no capo in standard tuning then i found out about the kapo 6th fret by watching vids. I had a feeling it was in a different tuning because i was playing these chords the same way people on these vids were but it didnt sound right lol.. crap was driving me crazy!! but thank god you made this video... i almost gave up on learning it haha kudos!

hey - lovely playing. can you come back and revisit this song? maybe with the chords displaying, and strumming pattern, along with a breakdown of when to sing?

I know you don’t really need the lyrics, but at some point you must have realized that “In the quivering forest, I’ve been doing my grandfather” is uhhhhhh

It is just a double Drop-D. Tune both E strings to D and capo the 6th fret

How did you learn the chords? Only by listening to the songs/watching videos? Or do they have sheet music? Thanks a ton for posting this btw, VERY helpful.

No, because as he mentioned, he has all his strings tuned down a half step, which means he needs to capo up a half step, which is one fret;)
