You know if you don't do alot of finger picking, this isn't an easy song, but take it from me this guys video works just keep practicing the flow over and over again and you will get it, it just takes time.

Wow man. That's great! I'm just learning to play guitar and just started listen to Fleet Foxes so this couldn't be more helpful! I'd also like to second the request for Sim Sala Bim. I'm going to check out more of your videos when I have the time. Thanks so much!

thanks for the great lesson! I do the finger picking a little bit diferently though. Instead of using the thumb to hit both the A and D string I use three fingers; thumb on the A, Index on the D and the middle finger on the G string. It its just easier for me so my thumb muscle won't get tired so fast

Great video man, helpful even for a relative beginner like me. You should do Sim Sala Bim from the same album...at least the little riff in the middle of the song.

i liked this song since the first time I heard it.. i always felt like they recorded it too low for the album (especially the guitar). I thought the guitar would be hard but its actually super easy to play once you know the chord order. Then again I haven't used a pick in years so it might have just came naturally

Great tutorial. Very straightforward. The only question I have is how you are playing the other strings at 2:00? I can play the base line separately, but how do incorporate it into the other rhythms?

I would really like to learn Someone You'd Admire by Fleet Foxes. Dunno if you can make a lesson for it. Thanks anyway for your great videos :)

Is their anyway you could explain the break down ? It's the only part I can't get. I don't understand exactly what you're doing with the F chord. Thanks

It's very difficult to follow the picking, you don't explain that part very well. For some chords it goes like you explain in the beginning: 5th,3rd,5th,4th, but with some chods the bass note goes down to the 6th string - the other two stay 3rd, 5th though? And then the Dm chord "you have to change it", yes, but please tell us what to change it to :) As far as I can hear, it goes 4th,2nd,4th,1st? But very briefly, then back to Am. These things are super hard to figure out on a youtube video...
