Hey man, I was looking a short guide for this game and I found your channel. Quality of your videos are awsome. I can feel what kind of person you are and that's inspired me to channel my personality to do something. I really liked the way you prepared your videos. Even though I didn't check your new videos, I am digging your old videos right now :)

Lovely location for boule! 2:40 is incorrect btw: you (or your team) have to keep playing *until you get the point* - then the opposing team plays, again, until they get the point.

awh, you guys are too lovely. the most inspiring thing that has come to me is knowing the presence of you two itself, it gives me hope to someday be able to heal fully and do the things i love, which are just essentially the everyday things; yet instead of it being mundane it's present, and it's actually being alive. i'm sorry i don't have any stories! your videos are like serendipitous moments of life.. i just feel so good after watching them. : )
@WildWeRoam8 жыл бұрын
wow maya that is so beautiful. we're beyond humbled to hear how our videos are bringing such light into your life and know that by focusing your heart on this positive energy you will most definitely become everything that you're dreaming about - in fact if you asked our meditation teacher he would tell you that you're already there now. That really is the beauty in life - by just pausing and thinking about the world around you and what an honor it is to be alive that is where the true joy in life can be found. All these things sound so corny when you write them, but I really believe it all. Recently we read Eckhart Tolle's New Earth and a few other new agey spiritual things and they definitely helped things click into place for me about what is worthwhile of focusing your energy on. I could go on and on about this stuff, but know that we appreciate your presence here on our channel so so much! And thank you again for always sharing your thoughts with us :) hope you're having a lovely weekend. xxx

This looks like fun! So two questions....is it acceptable to roll your ball with the intention of bumping someone else's ball away from the Jack so one of your balls is closer? Also if you have 8 people who are playing and you use the kit you have with two sets of balls where 4 are the same how can you tell whose are whose when playing? Do you just have to remember where yours lands? One more question. If you have say 4 people playing can you still each throw 4 balls if there are enough balls to go around? Hope you don't mind the questions. Thanks!
@WildWeRoam8 жыл бұрын
Hi Jennifer! Thanks so much for all the questions :) Okay so you can definitely roll your ball with the intention of bumping someone else - in fact that is a great tactical move! If you have 8 people playing you just use the balls in pairs - they are ever so slightly different with their line patterns though we may end up painting them different colors so that you can tell them apart from far away to make it a bit simpler. If you have enough balls you can definitely throw more! When I played with these men we were playing with 6 people each person throwing 3 balls. Definitely let us know if you get a set! It is such a fun game :) highly recommend it!

The game looks fun two questions 1) if all 8 balls are the same color, how would you know who threw the second third and fourth balls closest to the JACK 2) if you exceed 13 first do you win or does the scoring start ove and you don't winr like some games as

Aww what a fun, interesting video! I love how you guys befriended strangers in the city! How cool. Also, I'm wondering how many languages do you guys speak?
@WildWeRoam8 жыл бұрын
Hi mila!! thank you for watching our bocce video :) it really was so much fun to make! getting to know new people and learning new games are the perfect combination - as for languages i can speak english, understand spanish really well and kind of speak it and my german is basic and lou is fluent in english, spanish, german and knows a bit of french too! (he really lucked out though as his dad is german and his mom is peruvian so he has those languages in his blood!!) what about you?! do you speak multiple languages?
@mila.inthewoods8 жыл бұрын
Wow that's impressive! That must come in handy while living abroad. How did you guys get the courage to move to Europe? Do you have family living there, especially since Lou has German/Peruvian in his blood? I only speak English and Serbian, but I am learning American Sign Language in college -- which I'm completely in love with. I took French all throughout high school but remember basically nothing xD, but I'm enjoying learning ASL much more than French! (French is so so difficult, even though I had an amazing teacher whom I still keep in contact today.)
@WildWeRoam8 жыл бұрын
so impressive that you speak two languages!! no need to put only before that - as someone who has been trying to learn languages almost my whole life i can say that anyone who is bilingual, trilingual any thing gah it impresses me so much. to think what your brain was doing as a child to learn an extra language - well its super cool! also super cool that you're learning ASL - do you have any plans for using the ASL?where are you studying it? as for us :) we got the courage to move to europe 2 years ago because lou's parents were generous enough to offer us their apartment in berlin. we actually met studying abroad in barcelona 6 years ago and had always wanted to move back to europe so when this opportunity came up we jumped on it! lou has a ton of family in southern germany as his dad's entire family is still living here. So fun to get to know you better through the comments!!
@mila.inthewoods8 жыл бұрын
Plant Based Traveler Haha, thanks, I think it's amazing how kids grow up learning more than 1 language. I wish I was more fluent in Serbian, but at least I can write in it in Cyrillic alphabet and of course speak and understand it. Wow, that's awesome how you guys ended up in Berlin. My parents also have an apartment in Europe, in Belgrade, Serbia which I've always imagined myself living in for a while sometime in my life. I'm studying ASL at a community college in northern Virginia. And I'm not sure yet what I want to do with it, but I might work with deaf kids. But I'm planning on majoring in nutrition because ever since becoming vegan (last September), I've been learning so much about how food affects our body. But omg it's amazing to get to know you too! I really enjoy hearing back from you in the comments :D
@WildWeRoam8 жыл бұрын
wow that is all so exciting! i definitely recommend taking your parents up on that amazing opportunity. just so nice to live in a different country and experience all these new customs - and i bet it would be even more rewarding since you already speak serbian! and definitely would be the perfect way to solidify all your language skills :) thanks so much for watching our videos and engaging with them here in the comments too! it really is such a treat to hear from you!

Ahh they were all butchering the throw. You are meant to throw with your palm facing down, giving your ball a reverse spin for stabilization while you do. They need to go to France to learn how to play.
