Hello miss i think I'm cunfuse at the first part of the song because you put a quarter note and the beat was 2 beat which is the beat of a half note ? So do i need more time to learn about the beat of the notes

It’s probably because the tempo is 76 beats so the song is really slow

Sorry if I’m wrong and you’re probably done with this piece by now, but the reason there are 2 beats per quarter note is because this specific arrangement has the tempo at 76 bpm for eight notes, meaning that each eighth note gets a beat at this tempo and each quarter note 2 beats
