Man l had learned from you in 3 videos more than the last 4 years of youtube videos l had watched. l think l know why, you get to right to what you are teaching rather than showing us how good you are your skill etc. You teach! The other guys teach a lil bit but then try to impress us dummies with what they know or their skill. Keep up the GREAT work and thank you so much! 🙏🙏🙏

Keeping it straightforward & understandable is so good, piano player of some 40+ years here & learning guitar for production purposes rather than using software. This makes way more sense to me than most of the other videos I’ve seen as I already have a good understanding of music theory but this really is helping me, subbed, thank you. 🙏 😊

Soon I will be turning 63 years old and you are, my friend, the best tutor I have came across since I started practising my guitar about six months ago. But my guitar is about eight months old.Totally frustrated and on the edge of giving up my guitar; I wanted to hung on the wall and was about to quit when I saw KZbin channel. You have gratually revielled "Learning Guitar Secrets" so clearly that it is a joy just watching you how impeccably you explain about chords and shapes on the acoustic guitar. You are my favorite of whole the tutors I have watched previously. Thanks to you that I am slowly progessing. Great job.

@@LearningGuitarSecrets Thanks for your reply. You asked if I had any problems? Yes, I do. Strumming is the biggest problem which causes a lot of rhythm understanding, I suppose. It’s so difficult keeping up the pace in flow. I would appreciate if you may explain how I overcome this challenge? Many thanks. Aslam.

by far the best tip anyone has tried to tell me from any youtube video, I like that you drive this point over and over because thats how it's going to stick for viewers.. Honestly, this really changed the way I approach playing and now I want to practice playing the open chords with the fingerset and mindset of a barre chord. Thank you so much for this nugget of knowledge, true game changer for a long time struggling to get there but loving the learning process player.

Hi. Your style of teaching where you show the patterns and how you just move the smallest string up one for minor and center string up for 7th... is brilliant. My mind just melted down with how easy that was. I really love your style. I an follow it really well and you didn't just move on - you went back and circled up. I love that small review so I can try it again with you while I watch the video. It seems you are just getting started on youtube because you only have 6k followers... but i feel you'll be really successful. Excellent videos. I also really appreciate the chord tabs popping up. Hope you do some major/minor key lessons and then how they are utilized in some popular songs with chord progressions. Anyhow... so amazing. bravo!!

Do you have to bar all the time? Wouldn't playing just the three notes called a triad? Playing an Eb can be a pain.....but you can do a d shape triad instead?
@LearningGuitarSecrets8 ай бұрын
You got it! A basic chord is made up of 3 notes, so 3 strings is enough. There are no rules. As long as you like how it sounds it's good👍
