Really excellent teaching. Great pace, great stages of the strum, and perfect illustration. Twenty stars.

I'm newbie uker, working my way through "Ukulele For Dummies." I got to page 87, "Wayfaring Stranger," immediately disliked the strumming pattern the book provided and came up with my own. But the more I played it, the more I thought it really called for bluegrass. Then, I found your cover of the tune and this instructional video. I might be getting way ahead of my proficiency level but I love a challenge. And this will keep me interested, not the strumming pattern in my book. Plus, playing clawhammer style makes the song sound much more upbeat. I can't thank you enough. You explain and demonstrate the technique very well.
