I carried a game from early to mid game phase with this hero, in a laning phase where we all lost. Prolonged the game enough to help my Medusa mid get some big right click dmg to finish the game from Megas, going straight down the middle.

For mana regen, I build echo Sabre into mage slayer or lotus orb, or both depending on the match up and then it fixes the mana problem. Follow by heart and AC and she is just really good this patch

idk if bsj reads comments often but Why echo saber, I do not understand why dawn sometimes builds that items, her 1st ability doesn't get the double hit and it doesnt stack/use her third abilities passive during q either, is it just for the autos sometimes and mana regen/stats?

Yeah basically. Stats, mana regen, and bursty attack speed are all nice on the hero. You get tankier (stats and more frequent E procs) and can farm faster (attack speed and mana), also harpoon is nice lategame for her.

Dawnbreaker IMO is too high of a mana/health management hero I much rather play Centaur and have Blademail while their carry wonders what to do behind tower

Buying health/mana regen after leaving the fountain in lower brackets is almost nonexistent. Additionally, you have to keep track of the minimap and what's going on in the entire map, which is another thing lower brackets don't do. Also, note how BSJ always mentions something related to teammates. In my bracket, people only use comms to flame/blame others.

@@BenSilver10 lmao in my rank like 90% of comms is for flaming/blaming. i always think it's ironic because these people are deaf mute otherwise, but every game they wonder why they're losing when they think the whole point of chat is for flaming. imagine if they used it for coordination. last game i had a SS blame me for everything - this was after he refused to talk at all for the first 30 minutes of the match. not even a single MIA call. when i checked his profile he had 10,000 hours worth of dota. and he wonders why he can't climb rank still.

I don’t think you highlighted the value of harpoon or nullifier. Dawn and use harpoon made star breaker to pull in an extra hero or catch someone with an escape. I feel like she’s also a really good nullifier hero.

He mainly talking about offlane dawn. Lots of different builds you can do with dawn, that’s what makes her good. I believe nullifier should be bought by hard carry or mid, so I never buy it as a offlane. Harpoon is in a gray area, it cost almost a blink dagger, you usually disassemble the echo Sabre for bkb for faster timing. It really depends how good of a game you’re having.
