Been teaching myself drumming with just a pad and sticks for about 4 months now. Practicing rudiments in such musical context is so much fun! So happy to have found your channel! Thank you for these amazing instructions! Got a book as well :)

I marched DCA corps from 2002-2004 and high school marching band during that time as well. I haven't really touched my sticks since then until about a year ago and then really started seriously trying to get my chops back about two months ago. Your videos are EXTREMELY useful in helping me knock the rust off and also teaching me some things that I was never even taught back in the day. I'm probably going to buy both of your books too. Thanks for sharing your gift and helping me to get mine back! Also - this is definitely my new go-to paradiddle exercise =)

These videos are so valuable to me as a tenor looking to maybe switch to snare or learn it for fun.

It's so much fun to learn and practice rudiments on this channel. It's hard to find someone in Japan who can teach you these rudiments. Thank you.

The paradiddle - double paradiddle-diddle sequence sounds so cool! If played not so fast and on toms, it sounds so "primal", it switches my mind to a "combat mode" 😆. Thank you so much for your videos!

Nice! I've been struggling to find anywhere to play my kit over the last few years so I've recently decided to go back to my hands and have been going down the YT rabbithole. I stumbled upon Pete Sapadin and have been learning his piece 'Strong Beach'. I've been pleasantly surprised that my hand technique hasn't been completely lost over te years. It's also not beyond my ability to play.

Nice work, if you can play this stuff your kit playing will be great

It's going to take a lot of time for me to break all of this down especially getting used to the left hand diddles to get it just RIGHT.
