When you played 6:2 don’t you score 5? 3 on some side of the spinner and 2 on the other makes 5. The spinner is closed and until the third or forth leg is played doesn’t the board read 5?

You have to take the double 6 on the spinner into play. 6+6+2+3. 17, no score.

Question... Once the first Double is played... Say a double six.. can the following domino be played on top of bottom instead of in the side? Or must you play on both sides of the Spinner to be able to play on the top or bottom of that first tile,?

You go opposite of the spinner so across. once both sides (across spinner )are played then you can continue on the other two sides( now forming like a cross )

@@400887 The thing is this game is that you need to put in the edges numbers that all together sum a multiple of 5. In this particular case the edge is 3 (from the 6/3 tile) and 12 (the vertical tile 6/6) so the total sum is 15 (6+6+3) which is a multiple of five. If it was a 6/2 tile the total sum would have been 14, and that translates into no points. Hope this helped!

This how Mexicans play too. I saw these other tutorials where there was no scoring until the game was won and no blocking opponents from scoring 5’s. There are seven of each kind and you can count how many are already played and if you have the remaining bones with that number dot, you can block other players. We don’t call out the last bone in our hand though. That’s weird, like Uno or something.

How I play is if you win a round and you have a bone that’s divisible by five you can automatically put it down and score in the next hand.

scotlandw8 we are playing all fives the double 6=12 on a 6:3 domino only one side is counted and he choose to play the 3 side 12+3=15...check out other videos for a more in-depth answer or read description 👍🏽

I do play dominos all the time but some of the rules are diffrent we play only the two sides not 4 this is a diffrent way of playing dominos

Lost.. He places a 6/3 and gets 15 pts, you place a 6/2 and get nothing. He places a double 3 and gets nothing then you place a 2/4 and get 10. So on and so forth but how?! You never explained how these points work. At the end you say “I have 17 points for 20” what does that mean?? “Only way to put money (points?) on the board is if you score in the first hand (as in the first entire game?) doesn’t matter if you domino (finish without pieces?) or not. Some gaping holes in this explanation
