Miss Toby. He came and entertained us for the USO in the Middle East more than any other entertainer. We really were happy to have him play for us. I’m 74 and people tell me I don’t look my age. My dad lived to 105. He could outwork me when he was in his 70s. So it’s in the genes. PS Mike you don’t look your age either. Someone named Toby Covel wrote the song and lyrics.

Love this song since your first lesson on it. I was so saddened when I heard of Toby's passing. This song will be one of my favorites forevermore. Thanks Mike!!!

Fun to play along on the Harmonica. This is such a classic Clint Eastwood song. Thanks Mike

Thanks Mike. A lovely tune I'll enjoy playing and singing. Toby Keith new for me even though I loved that film, The Mule. A kind person here in Kapiti has loaned me a guitar after I reached out on the Facebook Community page - a beautiful 1980s Sunburst Yamaha FG336SB ii. Heartwarming to know there is still so much good in the world... Thank you Mike for bringing a little joy each week

Thanks, Paul, and congrats on finding an axe whilst on your vacation! I love Yamahas… never played a bad one, and the new FG9 models are getting rave reviews.
