How to Play DRAG RACE in NFS Most Wanted 2005

Drag Race is a player versus player game mode along an enclosed course featured in Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Participants have to manually change gear as they race against others to the finish line along a straight circuit. A good opportunity to change gear is highlighted in blue and a perfect shift is highlighted in green. Over-revving is highlighted in red and pushing an engine to this limit outside of a vehicle's highest gear will result in a blown engine. Colliding with any traffic vehicle.

Am I the only one who likes NFSU1 and U2's Drag Races, being a fairly decent or full Straight Line across where it takes place on Drag Map Exclusive Areas, like Bayview Bridge or Coastal Express, for example? Not a fan of Drag Maps in MW cause of how some Races suddenly shift curves.

Left arrow ⬅️ steer left... right arrow ➡️ steer right.. just tap it, don't long press. Or visit Controls in Settings..

Watch the green arrow.. if it appears you shift.. at the start watch the speedometer.. the needle must not go over the red mark or you get engine blow

When you open the game, Go to Options, Controls... there you can see what is the default key for Shift... During the race when you see the green arrow that appears press that key for shifting..
