Very helpful, thank you. I just bought the games this weekend and played it today with my kids; we had a great time and even made it against the Kraken!

That was very succinct, but it would be very helpful to see these things, even just a mock game, to let it all sink in a bit better. Examples really help when trying to explain things.

I just got this to get my kids into D&D. I love how simple it is. Some say it's too simple, but for entry level young kids, it's a great way to get them into the game quickly.

Good day. How do you define who moves to Monster Space or who moves along the Core space? Is it something that a game card defines randomly or a choice of an individual player ?

@@JestaThaRogue I see , but who choos what type of monster will be there , and how one (player) establish that he will go Off the course to attack monsters, do he need to roll anything, because it wont be fair for group to wait for one if they don't want too or they will join him automatically if he starts the fight ? Thank you 🙂

Do you use special abilities before, after or instead of attacks? That part wasn’t very clear in the rulebook

Not much is clear in the Rulebook. Just play which is most fun and thematic.

If you die fighting the boss, can you buy back in to keep playing? It says that if you die, you can't join again until the next core space. If you can't buy back in during fighting the boss, it seems pretty impossible to win! Cheers!
@JestaThaRogue Жыл бұрын
I would assume so. A lot of the rules are not clear so just play what makes you happy :)

With the persoality tile, why is it 2 sided? When do you use the dice scores on the reverse?
@JestaThaRogue9 ай бұрын
I don't have the game anymore to check and BGG is down... But it's two-sided to give you an option of which role to play I believe? Not sure about the dice I'm afraid unless it's just the attack/ability target number to roll?
@darkarchebluegalaxygaming6047 Жыл бұрын
I have a question when rolling for initiative when other hero's are in combat and it says "who ever has the highest roll gets to go first " does that mean they can leave the battle or take a go and continue fighting I'm not sure due to it being my first time playing and also being DM so I'm just unsure in playing the game as a whole though I don't have the set yet I just ordered it so it wont be here for a while so I cant look at the rule book is all. and thanks for the video it is so far making a lot of sense. oh and if you cant answer the question its cool I did look at other comments and you said the rulebook was really vague so no pressure if you can't answer. thanks again I'm also just very much enjoying the video.

I was disapointed with how this played. I love D&D and I love dungeon crawler games, but this was missing something. On the other hand my 8 year old loved deciding how to use the items in his backpack to defeat monsters.

just explaining rules is a terrible way to teach someone how to play ... you just have to show by example how to play it ... duhhhhh
