Gameplay question: if you play a Forced Discard, does the Forced Discard go into the discard pile before or after the 3 cards your opponent lost? I'm not sure this makes a difference but wanted to check in case it does as it is a question that's come up while playing with friends. This game is so much fun, I'm really glad I backed the Kickstarter and I hope to see it gain more fans by hopefully being re-published!

I am so glad you're enjoying it! The Forced Discard would be discarded first, since that's the cause and the three card discard is the effect. That's a great note! Will keep that in mind if I have a chance to revisit the rules.

@@blackhollyblack Understood! My gaming group has a follow-up question: what about the Take Top 3 from Discard card? I assumed it doesn't get discarded before taking the top 3, otherwise the player would be getting 2 cards and the Take 3 card itself back, which could lead to a weird loop. However, if we follow the same rule as the Forced Discard (cause then effect), that would be the order, right?

Gameplay question: Are courts limited to 4 face-down cards? If I have 4 face-down cards in my court, but not the winning configuration, can I add a 5th face-down card to my court? The image in the instructions makes it seem like courts are limited to 4 face-down cards, but it also later says, "Any number and combination of Shield Cards, the Changeling card, and the Trap card may also be put in your court" so I wasn't sure. Thank you so much! 😊

Realistically, there's a max of 6 cards you can have in your Court, not counting Shield Cards, but there is no set limit -- also, at that point, you've won. And if you have four cards in your Court and haven't won, it's worth noting that opponents are going to suspect you have the Trap Card.

What does "slither under a shield" do? Remove the shield and/or reveal the court card under?

Game play question: if you are forced to discard the crown- does it go in the discard and no one is able to get it? Or is it reshuffled back into the draw pile

It goes into the discard (and will eventually come back when the discard is reshuffled and becomes the draw pile), but there are several cards that pull from discard pile, so there should be opportunities to get it before that.

There should be three KS exclusive alternate cards - an alternate Jude, Cardan and Crown so that you can choose which you’d like to play with.

We're through Kickstarter, but we're still in the process of fulfilling. And yes, we're planning on finding a distributor and bringing out a version of the game in the future once that's complete.

Good morning, I bought the game during the kickstarter. Super cool and then I played it. My friend and I had some problems while at it, so I'm gonna ask some questions. Maybe they're gonna help also someone else! Here I go: Must I put the crow in the Court or can I keep it in my Hand? If the crown is in the discard, and two card to take it back have already been used, can the play continue? Is there a way to get the crown from there? How do I use the "Mortal" card? Can't I add a card to my Court whenever I want during my turn? Thank u in advance to whoever knows a specific answer!
