When I first started playing guitar a few years ago, I skipped all the scales and crap and immediately used this video to learn this song. I was terrible at first for obvious reasons, but not I can play the whole song (minus the solo). But I know so many Metallica songs now thanks to Marty,

Great Stuff Marty, rock is coming back because of guys like you teaching us old rockers to play. I got Paranoid, Rocky mountain way and The Zoo down, now I’m working on Sandman. I here Dreams by Fleetwood Mac are charting at 21 because of a tic Tock video. Let’s keep the momentum going Rockers, bring our music back.

I know it's an old comment but any one struggling with this chord. Try learn smells like teen spirit by nirvana it helps practice that chord wonderfully.

your intro is right but incomplete, after playing what you taught twice, the drums starts and at the end of the progression instead of E string 6th to 5th, it goes D string 8th to 7th, which repeats twice and the distortion sounds begin, great lesson as always though :) (I'm sorry if i make no sense hehehe)

You got some of the best lessons I have seen on youtube. Very easy to follow and by the end of each video I just practice aa few minutes playing thru what you showed me and in a matter of minutes I can play thru the song at a decent speed.

Can you make a solo video to this song? I find many solo videos but no one can teach as good as you can!
