Thanks Marty, I know people who have picked up the guitar, wanted to play with all their hearts, and have dropped it in frustration, more than once. Some of those people found Marty Music and have kept on keeping on with playing because you are easy to follow and are a good, comfortable teacher. There are people who have the guitar as a real part of their lives because of you, (me included), and that makes you one of the coolest people around. Peace, Steve.

I got my first guitar when I was 18, I learnt the basic chords and how to play simple songs, but gave up soon after. With a lack of immediate learning material available, i got stuck. This was back in 2005. I picked guitar back up again, 15 years later in the middle of the pandemic, and I have learnt more in 2 weeks (including how to play Part 1 of this song) all thanks to you Marty. The content you give out for free is unreal, and you've made it possible for people like myself to learn incredibly hard songs, so simply. Thank you.

Marty. I have been learning songs from you since I was 15. I am now 28. Thank you for all of the years of giving me hope that I could be a great guitar player. Your lessons are straightforward and courteous and provide exactly what people are looking for in terms of pace without expecting us to have a degree in music. You're the man, dude. Hope you stay well.
