Hi my only hesitation with playing Limitless in Match Day 3 is big teams who have won first two games will rest their main players. You don't know who's going to start. You play Limitless chip put in Kane Mbappe but then they are rested.

Limitless chip lasts the match day 3 which is about a week so now you should active it for MD4 after the last game of MD3

My worry for saving limitless for match day 3 is that the best players are benched. I don’t want to have an unlimited budget for a round when kane, mbappe, kdb etc might be resting

Yeah MD2 might be better in that regard, but then some of those big hitters have tougher games. It's great to use unlimited budget but also remember that part of the benefit is getting to change your team.

I don't understand the way the Captaincy works. You explain that you are going to have a different captain everyday, but only the one you stuck with will be the one getting the point. Then surely you would just make the player on the last day on the Match Day to be Captain if you are going to swap everyday anyway. Correct me if I am wrong, in your example, I would put Musiala as captain on Day 1 (Friday), and simply put, I would just see how many points he got and then decide whether to stick or twist. If he scores a hat trick then it would obviously be STICK. There would be no reason to change captain at all for the next 4 days. If he blanks, gets only 3 pts then I would go to Day 2, pick a player to captain. If I have no players until Monday and Captain Mbappe then it would be a gamble and I can't go BACK to Musiala. Am I right? I don't understand when you said "The strategy is to have a different captain everyday. Imagine if Musiala scores 5 goals in Day 1....I should still change the captain in Day 2??? Or can you swap the Captain BACK to Musiala on Day 5? That wasn't explained.

Will you score points for all 15 players or only the 11 that are in your lineup at the end of each matchday? If it is only the 11, if a player gets a red card and I sub him, the minus points won't count either?

Hi Andy ⚽ I want to try and conceal my (2 free) match day 1 transfers that will only come into affect for the following match day 2 (if I make them after deadline time) 1. Can I use my 2 free tranf (match day 1) just before the start of match day 2 or will they expire straight after ALL matchday 1 games have ended ? 2. Once my 2 free tranf are done (after deadline) will they show up in my team straight away or ONLY when match day 2 starts ?

You don’t have 2 transfers for MD1, you have unlimited transfers, it’s 2 transfers for MD2.

As long as it's before the sub deadline on Portugal's game day (Tuesday), then Bruno will become active for his first game and you will lose the Modric points instead.

Basically you can switch captain every day within a match day but whoever you stick with by the end of the matchday is your captain. So if you captain Havertz on Friday and he scores 6, you get 12 as captain. If on Saturday you switch to Rodri captain, you'll get 6 points from Havertz and whatever score Rodri gets will be doubled. You can keep swapping until the end of the matchday, but if someone smashes it early on you don't have to switch.

If Havertz gets 5 points then you get 10 as captain gets double points. If you switch captain for the 15th, say an Italian defender & he gets 10 point's then he gets 20. But Havertz score will go down to five as he's no longer your captain.

Was going to play this but honestly looks really bad. I like that with FPL I only have to make changes once a week, sounds really annoying that you have to do every day. Keep up the great content though Andy, I'll be back for the new season!

If it was over 38 weeks I'd hate the daily changes but it doesn't take much work for this in a short format really. You can just login, see if you have anyone on the bench to bring on and whether anyone in your team has blanked, job done.
