That was actually great! Simple, learnable and it sounded awesome. I'm going to go home and teach it to my son who is 6 years old. His mom is going to love it. Merry Christmas and I appreciate you more than you'll ever know

Thank you. I'm flattered. I can only really describe myself as a semi-pro at best. I do play for money, but not for very much of it unfortunately.🥲

really clear run through. Maybe its just me but when you sang the slow run through your voice reminded me of the old songs that were sung in the old westerns.

Thanks Andrew. I used to get compared to Feargal Sharkey (of the Undertones etc), but that hasn't happened for a few years now, so my voice must have changed 😊.

Nice clear explanation of this fairly simple progression with tricky timing. We’ve pretty much nailed it in our ukulele band played in C major. We’re fortunate that our band has a 50/50 split of male and female voices so it works well especially with the original uncensored words. Nice to see your A major fingering is the one that I teach, much cleaner than the text book 123 fingering.

Only Shane MacGowan could have written those words! My guitar teacher taught me that fingering of A Major 40 plus years ago, and I have used it ever since. 😊

@ It works for me , there are a few people who can one finger the chord with high E sounding out but I don’t have the flexibility.

Hi Peter - question- where have you been all my stumbling mash up guitar playing life ? No joke I have learned so much in recent weeks since discovering you/your channel my enthusiasm & pleasure has returned in buckets as in “of rain” 👍 Final question how do I go about printing out tabs & chords ? Merry Christmas The other Peter (Matty)

Hi Peter - glad you're enjoying the channel. I always enjoy a good Dylan allusion 😊. I don't currently provide chord charts or tabs - other than what you see in the videos. Why not is a longish story, but the short version is that there would be some copyright challenges to overcome. If the channel gets big enough, then it's something I may try to do further down the line. In the meantime, Ultimate Guitar (www.ultimate-guitar.com) has a lot of chord charts and tabs. Some are really accurate, others less so. If you're a Dylan fan, I really like Dylanchords (dylanchords.com), which is an all-round excellent site.
