I'm excited to learn this one, Nate. I saw Tom Petty in Nashville in 2016 right before he died. It was a wonderful concert. I think Steve Winwood opened for him. Thanks again for releasing these awesome tutorials. I'm going to work on Real Love Baby and Free Falling this weekend. I'm looking forward to "woman" by John Lennon, but I realize you have a back log

I bet that was great, I saw him in 2005 at Bonnaroo festival and that was pretty amazing. I'll be shooting Woman this weekend (still perfecting the arrangement I want to teach). It will probably be out in a little less than two weeks :)

And now I am going to make a request. I can’t seem to remember if I already made this request. There are some songs that are surprising with the time signatures . I always thought that Happy Birthday was in 4/4 time but it is actually 3:4 Same thing for Silent night and Kiss from a Rose. And of course there are songs that have different signatures within, like We can work it out by the Beatles… would it be possible to make a video that talks about how to determine the time signature(s) of a song. Or is it complicated?

Hi Charlie! This could indeed be a good video topic. I'll think on it... Here's a thought: If you're able to find the beat and tap your foot along to a song, start counting when the song starts. Try counting 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 etc. with a count on every foot tap. Then try that with 1 2 3 1 2 3 It should be pretty apparent which fits the music better. If the chord changes are mostly landing on "1", you are probably counting it right!
