Troy what guitar are you playing and is there a reason why you are using a powered speaker vs a acoustic amplifier. I am questioning if I should get a Boss Singer Live. Thank you Triy.

Hi my friend, I’m playing a Takamine EF341SC. I originally started with a standard acoustic amp (can’t remember the brand) but I didn’t get the results I wanted vocally through the amp. It was suggested to me to try the Bose L1 PA system. It was better vocally but not as good as musically. It wasn’t until I added the Bose ToneMatch mixer that I got everything I was wanting. I’m not familiar with the boss Singer live so I just watched a couple of KZbin videos.. looks fantastic. I wonder how it would handle a Beat Buddy?

I will get back with you about it. Do you have trouble hearing yourself while playing in your room. I have a JBL powered speaker to left of me and parallel to my body. I play sitting down. Folks told me I should have at least a 60 watt amp that I could have as a personal monitor and also a acoustic amp. Don't know if I am over doing it. I have a Taylor GS Mini Rosewood electric acoustic. It is ok but I need a little bit more punch acoustic wise. I will check out the Takamine EF341SC. Thank you for coming back and helping us.

What’s the strumming pattern you use
@myacousticlounge7 ай бұрын
Hi Andrew, In many cases, the strumming pattern can change in a song when transitioning from verses to choruses. I personally incorporate a number of muted slap strums, variations and Nuances, unique to me when I Strum cords. It’s not always consistently the same throughout the song and it’s not always the same as the original. Keep in mind, there’s no right or wrong way to strum chords to a particular song. What’s important is learning the general rhythm. As you practice and get the general rhythm of a song down you’re trying to learn, you’ll find variations and nuances that work for you. My advice to you is play the song, not a strumming pattern. With that, I’m loosely playing… A Chord ⬇️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬇️ D Chord ⬇️⬆️⬇️⬇️ E Chord ⬇️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬇️ I’m also going to include this video tutorial (below) I did about strumming patterns and their perceived importance. If you have some time please have a look. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqbKpGqeqcitprssi=g5wZjiduoow2UXTP
