Green Arrow, the guy has a chili to die for (only Batman can eat it and keep a stone face). That and, much like Iroh, has a side-kick he somewhat trained, and rolls the same way he does (there is no Arsenal in Ba Sing Se, only Red Arrow). Uncle Iroh build, because I'm sure the third-aged man could trade advice involving positive social reform with the emerald archer. Edit: Also, with the special kryptonite arrow, Supes will be the one in the krypt tonite... get it?

Arrowheads are easy to think through. Make a successful skill or proficiency check and you can craft your own custom arrowheads. For the most part I went with functionality, and ignored base material differences. Who cares if your arrowhead is made out of this rock instead of that rock? But if the material was particularly significant, like adamantine, obsidian or silver, I did list those as separate "functions". In total I had 37 types of arrowheads. For shafts, I largely considered stability in flight and potential deployment of additional projectiles. There were 14 possible shafts, though a couple of those technically required you to forage for resources rather than directly purchasing them. (Based on the plants known to grow along the Sword Coast) For the fletching, I wanted it to be easy to identify an arrow sticking out of a quiver so that you can grab the arrow you want without having to closely examine each one before knocking it. Dying the feathers helps, but the arrangement of the feathers adds another layer of distinction whether you want it to be fanned out, tri-layered, helical, or flu-flu. And I found that some plants have useful properties that could be implemented in fletchings, either for their aroma or for their thorns. Make sure to wear gloves when grabbing your arrows! I strongly considered types of ropes to use in Grappling arrows, but Protean Silk is really the only way to go. 10 base types of fletching that can each be dyed various colors for visual distinction. I have the full list with coin costs and general descriptions on paper.

Nope. Way of the Hand monk, at least to level 6, then fighter the rest of the way. Vic trained with Richard Dragon and is a Kung Fu expert (but not a master). His detective skills are really just him nosing around. No need for rogue at all. If you want to replicate his smoke cloud, you could get it with magic initiate and take fog cloud. Or a level in sorcerer, maybe. If you do go sorcerer (shadow, probably), get disguise self as well, to replicate his faceless mask. @7, when you go fighter, either take unarmed fighting or better yet, blind fighting. Unarmed would bring you up to 1d8 for your UAS, but blind would allow you to fight in your fog cloud without penalty.

I was kinda hoping he'd focus more on CWs adaptation of Green Arrow. He's one of the best hand to hand fighters in the Arrowverse, so I would've replaced the fighter levels with monk so he could take full advantage of DEX and WIS and use unarmored defense.

Although I STRONGLY disagree that he should have focused on the Green Batman more, comics Oliver is also a good hand to hand fighter, I would personally take 2 levels in fighter and switch defense for unarmed fighting style and just take 1 monk level.

Arrow!Oliver is probably just a Fighter/Rogue: like omechron said, he doesn't really do much of the trick arrow stuff, and spells to represent the spread of weird arrows are most of the reason to go Ranger instead of leaning on one of the pure martial classes in the first place. With the heavier focus on Fighter, you can just go Champion and get both Archery and Unarmed Fighting on one class, with Rogue bolstering the totally-not-Batman "just really good at all sorts of stuff" deal, as well as the damage output.

Maybe you ought to do James Garner's character in "Support Your Local Sheriff" / "Support Your Local Gunfighter". James comes into town, either on his way to Australia, or to get away from a woman he's not in love with, and gets a job as the Sheriff/Gunfighter, befriends the Town Character, cleans up the town, and gets the girl. I see his characters as dexterous Rogue/Fighter sorts, with a decent Charisma modifier at any rate - needs Deception, Perception, Persuasion, Athletics or Acrobatics, and possibly Animal Handling. Needs Crossbow Expert, or the Gunner Feat (setting dependent of course). Overall, James' characters like to employ the art of Bluff, and Double Bluff, as they hate to use violence, but when they must, they're deadly accurate, and quick on the draw.

I came across this video while playing around with creating a Green Arrow inspired archer. I haven't played it yet, but this is the build I'm tinkering with (all from PHB): Race: Variant Human Class: Fighter Fighting Style: Archery Martial Archetype: Battle Master (PHB 73) Feats: Sharpshooter, Piercer (TCoE, which I didn't know about until watching this video) Battle Master gives access to maneuvers to disarm, distract, push, and trip your target with your shots, among others, which I think fits with the trick shot aspect of Green Arrow. I should note that I'm partial to Mike Grell's Green Arrow, so I modeled this build after it. If you get a chance to play this build, I hope you enjoy it!

Okay this is definitely a pet peeve of mine it's not an issue ignore me, but Superman does not have a weakness to magic. At least no more than anyone else. He just doesn't have any baked in resistances to it like he does...everything else. It's not that he's weak to it, just that he is only as vulnerable to it as anyone else would be.

Episode 314 of the Fire Emblem stats: Oliver Queen. Green Arrow is pretty much focused exclusively on bows for his weapons. However, he's also good with every other projectile type of weapon (lances, axes, and both types of magic) to represent his trick arrows. He's weak in only flight. He's a run-of-the-mill archer in terms of stats: great dexterity and luck, bad HP and defenses.

I'd prolly go with Champion on GA; For Archery, Unarmed Combat and Improved Critical. And maybe some levels on Bard for some of his trick arrows and Jack of All Trade (Oliver's not really bad bad on anything; Guy is charismatic, can lead a company and defend himself in court). But as Ollie himself had admitted he is not talented as he can only properly shoot at straight shots; He said that his sister is way better than him, being able to bounce arrows around like Hawkeye from Marvel. He specifically says that he doesn't calculate shots, he shoots instinctively (Prolly because he trained in the wilderness); So he can accurately shoot the moment something moves, but will struggle against those that will use cover.

Any particular reason you picked ranger over arcane archer? Arcane Archer would get potentially up to five shots per attack, second wind, lots of fancy arrow types, and all sorts of feat and ability score increases
