Hi creator of Los Santos Online here. I don't actually expect anyone to purchase the 50 dollar version tbh. I have it there as an option, but i expect most people will choose to pay 5 dollars. It's more than reasonable for the amount of time I spend making this and running servers for PS4 and 360.

If you can't jailbreak your new LG TV, you can enable developer mode as an alternative. To get the home Homebrew Channel on it. I just did it on my LG C4 latest Web OS update no problem. This method also ensures you won't have to worry about any warranties related to rooting.
