was going to moan about the slow pace ... so had a listen to big bill the 52 version here on the YT. and fair play you hear it, those open strings ringing out, and those subtle note variations that you obviously heard and try to show in the slow ...and Bill's keen sense of the micro rhythm change's is well worth trying to emulate if it adds extra technique as it can be applied to any tune. being getting into that Zen moment is knowing when to slip some very cleverly worked phrase(s) and making it sound just a lucky coincidence and just little things make the difference Bill's outro section is is a prime example of perfection and his boot stamping the time

Great lesson. I can get most of pretty well but have trouble playing with my thumb on the low strings while playing the high strings at the same time. Do you have any suggestions on how to get better/practice that? Or is it just something that kinda clicks after you do it a million times?
@rainerbrunn-countrybluespi5145 жыл бұрын
If you have never done that before (playing low and high strings at the same time ) this one might be a little advanced.
@przybyla4202 жыл бұрын
Start at a slow tempo and practice the bass part alone until you can do it very consistently. Then add a strum of the chord or double stop on the off beat, in between the boom Chuck. Then build into more complicated right hand patterns, Tommy Emmanuel has a great short finger style lesson on KZbin.
@austindennis87972 жыл бұрын
