I really can't decide, what's more beautiful, this song, your angelic voice or your eyes^^. I just recently started to learn playing the piano, me being an old drummer who wants to change his ways. ;- ) Right now I am trying my luck with John Paul Jones' "No Quarter" (Led Zeppelin). I really love the sound of Fender Rhodes, I just HAVE TO play it before my hands get too old. :- ) So I bought an electric piano plugin and an old Kawai Keyboard to practice on it, and I am saving up for 88 decent keys. I'm afraid I haven't yet made the sheet music for this. Any sheet music I produce is purchased via my website. It's repetitive chords - remember chord sequences is good practise, and to not always rely on reading from sheet music!

Using the left hand I play the A E with fingers 1 and 5 then using 3 and 5 for the C E C D and use the right thumb or 1 for the G. Is this ok as I find it much easier or am I going to get a talkin to when my teacher catches me. Please let me know what you think.

I'm sorry I am playing the version that I had downloaded while using yours to help me along. I'll try to learn yours as it is more complex. I can read notes easily now it is just a matter of learning by the letters you present. Time to look up that tutorial.

Could someone explain to me why every time I look at a song its keys look different from the last time I thought hurt was just: Aminor Cmajor Dmajor [Am C D (repeated)] But in this video now we have two hands and we're playing parts of those chords one at a time rather than pressing all 3 keys per chord simultaneously. ERGHHH music so confusing.

Yes the chords are broken up, and are a little more complex than just the straight-forward chords! The notes taught in this tutorial are VERY accurate. Much information online regarding chords for a song is often either simplified or just very inaccurate (ah-hem ultimateguitar...)

This isn’t correct.... still sounds beautiful but it’s completely missing the haunting dissonant chord for the verse. That chord sets a mood for the entire song that makes it slightly chilling but beautiful.

I saw when you showed it individually, but I got confused with all of the fingers 😅 I'm still just learning the basics. And it seems like I misunderstood the OP too.
