Hopefully enough listeners out there will by decent headphones for listening because that is the best way to capture the best audio transcription from the video. I like the color of your guitar. Blue and pink Rocks! Some wouldn’t play it, but I don’t care what others think.. Good for you! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤙🏻 Regarding Def Leppard, Let’s take a Deep Dive… I like their music…. But it’s very simplistic, the band isn’t technically good. If it wasn’t for Mutt’s brilliance, they’d sound awful. They even knew that Mutt was an integral part of their sound. Remember how bad their music sounded when they used another producer? The band begging Mutt to come back, was their smartest move. I’m glad that Mutt Lange, even busy as hell, made time to work with them. If he hadn’t, I’m sure that Def Leppard would be history…

I clicked for that soloist. Oof! 😍 That is literally my ideal superstrat! I always look at the Jacksons...but they are never as awesome looking as the Ibanez's....i get torn! I want the stunning, awesome design aesthetics Ibanez keep spitting out like they are hit sings, and they're the Beatles! But the Thru neck...the 7/8ths body size...and mahogany body (wings) are too important features to pass up. I came close to getting a purple candy one like this ..but ended on something else. If i could get this ...id seriously sell gear to make it happen! (And i know i always REGRET that , so i dint tend to...). Anyway ...as my savings plan is in good stride, i just hope they release something like this when i get there... This colour is the best ive ever seen though...😍 Jackson just never seem to "nail" it , lile Ibanez do...but boy did they hit it outta the park with this one! (I already know Hysteria, its in one of my scrapbooks - where i tab out every solo /song learn. ..cos i got sick of forgetting 75% of everything i learn! But in any case, I'll play along this video ..for the Jackson alone! 🤟😄

Hi Marty, Thank you so much for this new tutorial, always so well done and easy to understand. It is really appreciated and generous. I have a question, feel free to answer it. What are the settins of your delay, by ear I would say 2 repeats and about 400 ms. Also, I have a Jackson that seems identical to yours, a beautiful and excellent guitar. However, unlike yours, mine really sounds like #$&@* in my hands, I don't understand why 🤔🤔😁 Once again thank you, you are a great player.

Nice tone!! FWIW, when i learned that riff by ear i used my 2nd and 3rd fingers on that Dsus4 so i could simply reach back to the G with my first finger. That way i didnt really have to move anything for the sake of fluidity and economy....less chance of buggering up the chord change. I'm not as good a player as Marty. Cheers Marty!! What area are yu in btw!? (If i may ask)

The final note of the solo is a D. You got it as an E, 17th fret of the B string. It's really back down a whole step ( 2 frets) to D, at B-15. When you play it, you'll hear the difference....and go "...Oh yea, that's right!" It's a surprisingly sophisticated melody, for such a simple solo... I think it's one of Phil's most iconic.

Every time someone puts out a Rockman video the used prices go up. I've been trying to buy a good quality x100 for less than a kidney on the black market for a few years. Thankfully the AmpliTube Joe Satriani collection has the "Boston 100" amp for a price that won't make you question your sanity.

At 5:09 , Tab doesn't match what you're playing. At 6:20 you're back to playing that phrase like the tab. I always thought playing the 545,045 045 045 part was best played with the middle and ring finger and then bringing the index finger down on the 3rd fret for the next part was the easiest. Love that Jackson Guitar. At 8:53, you're Cadd9 , your index finger isn't fretting the E note on the D string as per the tab.
