Nicely done man.. I can only dream of reaching this level at the moment. Still kind of a beginner but getting more confident. Find power chords tough to master with cutting off the appropriate strings and stuff.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Here's some advice - use your pointer finger to mute those strings your are not playing. For example, every time you play a power chord, your pointer finger will always be on the Low E or A string. Press down on the string with the end of your finger like normal, but lay down the rest of it over the strings below the A string light enough so that it prevents the string from vibrating but not so hard that the string makes contact with the fretboard. Also, your pointer finger will not disturb the strings that your ring and pinky finger are playing, so it will only mute the strings that are not being played. Hopefully that makes some kind of sense, haha! Good luck!

Adam Pieper Yeah that definitely makes sense cheers Adam! Just having a hard time making sure I lay down the rest of my finger light enough on the other strings instead of too heavily.. Sometimes I get it spot on and then say I change to another note for another power chord I'll go too heavily again. Probably just practice really.. Also taking me a while to get the transition from one chord to another smoothly too so I guess that doesn't help but I can only keep practicing! Thanks for the advice! :)

Actually not weird at all! As the description says, this video is meant to be a tutorial and not a cover, so I'm mimicking along to the MP3, meaning the only thing you hear in this video is the original song. I don't even think my guitar was plugged into an amp when I shot this, haha! As for that bend... this video was done 11 years ago, so my technique was a little questionable back then, haha.
