For that F chord, if you listen closely to the recording, they actually play an F (add9) chord, adding the ‘G’ note on the third fret of the high ‘E’ string. It’s easy to play, just play a regular F chord and put your pinky on that third fret of the E string. Your pinky’s already there if you play the ‘G’ chord like he tells you to.

Also, for the ‘G’ to ‘C’ part, when you play the ‘C’ chord, keep your pinky where it is. That makes it easier to quickly transition between the two chords. It also just sounds nice!

When you play that F-chord you need to leave your pinky on the 3rd fret of the 1st string. Slow down the recording and listen... you can clearly hear the G note ringing out. Other than that, pretty good lesson
