This is so awesome. I dabbled around with all kinds of things (Foundry, Roll20) etc but they are all based to bring a group together. This looks like the perfect solution for any solo gamer who wants a combination of theatre of mind but also some visual guidance. Now I need to head over to your website and get it. Awesome video :)

Very glad you found it interesting! Yes this is definitely conceived for the solo gamer/gm in mind.. eventually I will add the possibility to play with others but the roots will always be solo/GM-less play as that's how I play myself.

Hello, you are in luck as you don't have to install anything, It runs entirely within your browser. Its a web app. Once you buy you can go directly to: theaugur.app/ and start playing (No need to download anything).

I think the Harm button on the monster window is a bit confusing. If you leave Harm at 1, it marks the correct number of progress boxes based on the challenge level--if you do 1 Harm to a Dangerous foe, they should mark off 2 boxes. If you change the Augur Harm button to 2, it marks off 4 boxes per 1 Harm. So you don't normally have to mess with that button, the Augur does it automatically.

Hello, I am testing right now and it seems to be working.. If I leave it at 1 harm for a dangerous foe one click on the arrow adds two filled boxes. If I set harm to 2 then a single click on the arrow fills 4 boxes. From reading the rules my take is that if you have a proper weapon equipped your harm is 2, otherwise it's one.. so if you are wielding a sword against a dangerous foe a single strike (weak hit), you inflict 2 harm which would equal 4 boxes.. if it's a strong hit then it should be 3 harm and then it should be 6 boxes. Although writing this I think I get the point of your comment.. for the +1 harm of the strong hit I would have to manually set the harm to 3 and click once, if I left the harm at 1 then I would click three times to get the same result... It's definitely two different ways to do it. I am planning to do a 5 minute video where I go into combat, I will leave harm at 1 in that one to show that you can do it like that as well. As I write this and think about it I think that this is probably the best way of doing it, otherwise you have to make sure that the harm is set correctly every time.

@@theaugur3285 Your numbers are correct. I realize now that the Harm button is used to set how many "Harms" the attack does, then you just hit the arrow once and it figures the total. I had it in my head that you'd hit the arrow for each Harm, so I realize now that I was the one confused. :) But I agree with your last paragraph.

@@ARKavli I will try to find a way to make this clearer, also (as you mentioned in your video) I definitely need to add all the moves to the combat panel.. having just the combat ones was a big oversight on my part. It breaks the flow horribly when you have to go to a different menu to look up face danger.

What do you all do for Truths? Do you just add them to a journal entry? Also, I have found that no VTT except Fantasy Grounds Unity have the option to do manual physical dice rolls and input them into the program. I love my dice and being able to roll them physically not electronic is a big plus for me. Will this ever implement something for that? Thanks.

hello, for now I put them on the journal you can create an entry named "truths" and place it on top of all the others (you can drag and drop entries to move them around). I will probably give them a separate tab in the coming updates. I have never considered inputting the dice values manually, I'll see if I can squeeze it in the big update thats coming soon.. otherwise it will probably make it after that one.

@@theaugur3285 I realized last night that the idea to add manual dice feature to your program is kind of a dumb idea. Dice roles are not logged or needed to be rolled in the Augur so I can just roll my dice and look at the result. Sorry, this is not DnD 5e VTT or something where it is more important to have the rolls in the program.

I think you mentioned this somewhere in this video when I watched it briefly this morning, but now I can't find it. It seemed to me that you could easily upload a map, but now that I go to the program, I cannot figure it out at all. This is an AMAZING job that you've done, don't get me wrong, but if I can't actually work with an Ironsworn map, it's pretty much useless to me. Can you put into words how to upload a world map? I don't even see a "world map" option, just regions, cities, scenes etc, so I'm really confused. Sorry, this might be me, but I'm not totally stupid, so I think this should be explained better. Also, timestamps on this video would really help! But otherwise, fantastic work and I deeply appreciate it! But really, where is the world map! How do I upload my JPG of Ironsworn without dropping and dragging (which isn't working anyway!). This part is not intuitive, but it's actually one of the most important parts of a program like this. Again, I'm maybe being stupid, but it should be easier to figure out.

Hello, when you start a new game it will give you the option to select a main map, in that same menu there is a "from image" button. Afterwards the way to add a custom map is to drag an image file into the main screen (where the current map is) that will open a new menu letting you configure this new map. Please let me know if this works for you. I will add the timestamps too! Thanks for buying The Augur. Do let me know if you have any other issue.
