The Augur 2.0 VTT Review

Amazing video, very clear and goes over every feature with such precision. Thanks for taking the time to review the augur! This video and our conversation on itch about custom rulesets really inspired me to start working on that part of the program again and its what I am going to be focusing for the next updates. I've been building this program with Ironsworn and later Starforged as sort of its core and then I added as many generative features as I could as I think thats a big part of solo roleplaying, now that I have a solid foundation I find its the right time to expand into other rulesets.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I just added import & export options to the custom ruleset panel. You can now export the ruleset and apply it to other characters very easily, also you can share the export file with other players who can then apply it to their own characters on their game. Like I said I was really inspired by this video, I will improve the custom ruleset system further but this was a something critical that was missing and I wanted to add as fast as possible.

Cool, I've been using this for the past month, setting it up for my Castles & Crusades game as a possible GM Journal for my online group. I don't use these as an actual VTT, just as a catchall for my ideas as my players explore my Harn world. I seem to have issues with the Augur keeping my map as the base-map... I have to re-initialize it each time I restart my Augur... watching what you have going on in your game to see if I'm missing something or missing a feature along the way.

Harn is one of my favorite settings. And I loved the 1E rules and rule book.

Trying to find a way to Template the character sheet so I dont have to remake my sheet each time for a new player.

That was my first ask over on the Augur forum, some way to keep the template. I think that will probably be applied soon. Even solo heroes need wingmen! :)

@@ARKavli you can export and import now, so that should be a work around till/if templates get put into the Augur

Tried it and found it janky as hell. Not worth the asking price when there are other that do it way better and cheaper.

I actually think it has a nice flow to it (dev worked mainly on usability for one of the bigger updates), but it does need a bit of getting used to. The only reason I still use Foundry VTT is the missing multiplayer capability. Foundry and I am sure Roll20 as well don't have the best UI either.
