Your acoustic arrangements are absolutely wonderful. I know they must take quite some time to write but I sincerely hope you do more in the future!

Your lessons are consistently the best on the internet; attention to detail and good explanations of how to play are a few of the many positive qualities. Very cool that you did a Christmas carol. Two of my other favorites that you have done are, "From the Beginning" and "Ramble On" "From the Beginning" is a very different sound and really fun to play.

Andy - that was amazing! It’s 2 months until Christmas; time to brush up on my Christmas accompaniment repertoire and add some to it but I think this arrangement deserves stand alone status. It simply is the most beautiful instrumental version of this song I’ve ever heard.

Another great arrangement and lesson. And I have to say, having worked really hard to get Eleanor Rigby down, this one is coming relatively easy.

The history behind some of these Christmas carols is quite interesting, such as the mystic that surrounds "Greensleeves." I believe this was originally a hymn. From Wikipedia: "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear" (1849) - sometimes rendered as "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" - is a poem and Christmas carol written by Edmund Sears, pastor of the Unitarian Church in Wayland, Massachusetts. Sears' lyrics are most commonly set to one of two melodies: "Carol," composed by Richard Storrs Willis, or "Noel," adapted from an English melody. (1849) A beautiful carol to learn on acoustic, though you always make it easier than it looks. :)
