Thought I should mention this: The MOST effective way to play Jalapeño is going to be by weaving in basic attacks between charge-ups! I wasn't 100% at the time I recorded this, but I knew I was close. This is probably why the gameplay for that portion is rough 🙃 I'm not sure if I'll release a full rotation video as it isn't my specialty, but we'll see! Also should mention that while new calcs are showing that Jalapeño doesn’t power deep Chili, they’re pretty much on par, which is insane considering how busted Chili truly is. We won’t know who’s 100% better until Champion Raids unfortunately. All I know is that imma keep investing 😎

Jalapeno’s range advantage and doesn’t rely on reducing HP to boost damage is already more favorable. Chili benefits more on having shield than healing but who runs Crushed pepper in c. Raids? Maybe with this new elemental rankings we would see Crushed pepper in C. Raids.

I wish we had more content comparing similar cookies, a lot of people just want to know if this is a worthy upgrade over chili and the answer is dead silence

The issue is we don’t ACTUALLY know right now, calcs tell us they’re very close, but calcs also say Jalapeño is hard to accurately compared to chili, so all we know is that they at least perform nearly the same.

Many jalapeno users don't understand how their passive core works, they immediately spam their skills & ults without taking advantage of the bonus from their stack charge attack, or sometimes they do a charge ATK 3 stacks wastefully until they can only do normal basic ATK. I often encounter players like this in raids as usual, making the raid take a very long time.

awesome guide!!! also i have some questions about game mechanics that i cant understand, i hope you can help me with answer🙏🙏🙏 1. what is elemental damage? is it only burst gauges damage or all damage from a cookie of certain element? 2. is charged up attack damage considers as basic attack damage? if so, can you use new set on lemon zest?

Elemental damage is a weaker version of atk% kind of a filler stat currently but may cook later. Yes it does and yes you can, new set I believe is GOAT on LZ

Yup! Bisquiks comment is spot on. Elemental damage is just a weaker damage multiplier, and charge attacks are counted as basic attacks (but if something is specified as charge-up, it doesn’t count as basic) meaning the new set is BIS for Zest.

Flat Ele Attack is best scroll roll for weapon fyi. You want 2 flat ele atk and 2 crit rate, then 1 c dmg 3 atk or 2 cdmg 2 atk

@@GloryuhFaidolynn-h9c With her final promotion, the only thing that changes is that you auto for a couple of seconds after using your ultimate. Single charged spam is still the best way to play her

Oh, so you were actually supposed to spam her charge attack? Cause i have jalapeno at max promotion, and the way i would do things is start a raid with one stack charge, use ult and then spam basic attacks until i have to refresh her enhanced state, which i would by doing a 3 stack charge, and keep doing these 3 stack charges until the boss is dead Artifact gacha kinda sucks, but i did manage to max zests artifact, and for gear, i had a spare sugar feather set with relitively high promotions, and its been workin out fine so far. I do have 2 out of 3 pieces of the hunter set, but theres always the fear of missing out on damage cause of the stark promotion difference

Yup! You just spam charged attacks. At her final promotion, the only thing you change is you use basic attacks after ulting while the buff lasts 💪

I believe you can use basics for 4 seconds after to be exact (however many that is), but yup! That’s typically how you will play her.

Pull for her artifact, then her next promotion! Both are insanely good, but her artifact provides some nice stats. At the same time, her second promotion is insane, which is why’d I’d recommend trying to get both. (Artifact > P2)

@@Humanarec your argument is silly. anyone that tries to say 'fact this, fact that' without actually being able to back up said fact is only try to strong arm the argument. arguments require critical thinking to use facts as the basis of their arguments. the "fact" that incomplete jalapeno cookies can clear within 1 second of the fastest clear already proves jalapeno is competitive with chili pepper. all you're doing is ignoring some facts to suit your opinion.

Man i think the most useful cookie here are kohlrabi, crushed pepper and rockstar. They have a versatile skillset. i have cream soda 4 star promotion and artifact 58k power. honestly he does deal a huge amount of dmg. But she's too squishy
