Good game guys, that was very entertaining. I'm excited to get into Keyforge. I like the concept of just buying a few packs and you are ready to play. It's nice not having to keep up with the meta, or having to think too much on deck building. I can just focus on learning my deck and have fun learning the different play styles of the houses.
@zerokura6 жыл бұрын
Only thing your needing when playing with friends are tokens to represent damage,amber,stun and keys. But ya i loving the idea of two people just have to buy a pack than face each other and learn their decks on the fly. Oh their also those chains to even stronger decks.
@anon24476 жыл бұрын
i'm the opposite of you, i HATE when 2 weeks after a set releases every single goramnd money clad bastard is playing the new hot deck card by card, and those who don't have the money for it, are just playing the new efficient budget aggro deck card by card as well, it makes everything super stale, opposedly to games like dominion or star realms where every game feels like a new game, and unpopular opinion here, growing on card games has made me DESPISE the goddamn 3 decks meta every card game seems to devolve into, i think magic's land cards into the deck is a semi-genius solution to it, by making sure that sometimes some parts of your deck are just buried below a land flood means that there are some cards that you don't even get to see in some games, making the game a little more varied.

Gateway to Dis(Destroy all creatures. Gain 3 chains.) Opponent gains 4 amber(total 7), Prof gains 3(total 7). Drumble(Elusive, Play:Capture opponents amber if 7 or more) Prof gains 7amber(total 14) -Sacrifices Lifeward. Prof says Check,ends turn. Opponent in state of shock does nothing. WIN. It's a cool combo, but one extra amber per Shadow's turn is not anything to write home about, and he gained that amber anyway on a lot of the turns simply by killing stuff... Had it gone out of control (but I have trouble seeing it), the opponent could have archived Bad Penny quite easily. But as it was, Bad Penny was more of a liability than an asset for the Shadow player. The worst point was when it acted as a target for the Big Martian Stunner to splash stun the Asp. Had it not been there, that move would have been impossible without killing the Stunner. I guess that against an enemy that can spare the attacks, you're sometimes better off simply discarding Bad Penny to avoid the endless hand clog.

"When a creature leaves play, any Æmber on that creature is gained by the opponent." This is why when you capture an enemy's Æmber it usually goes back to them when your creature is destroyed, so by having an enemy capture its own Æmber is a good trick to steal it.
