Billy is definitely one of the most insane bassists out there, his technique is on a whole different level but is a killer player and a super nice dude from all the interviews I’ve seen from him. Great vid as always, man, I’d love to see one on Les Claypool eventually

Billy's super cool, I was lucky enough to meet him on two occasions. He's not shy about sharing his style and techniques, probably because he knows Nobody else can do what he does.

Something else to recommend Billy is his nonjudgmental enthusiasm. He is the nicest guy and encourages novices to find their own style and not try to imitate anyone too strictly.

Billy is a legend! Check out "Elephant Gun" on David Lee Roth's "Eat 'Em And Smile" for some next level bass playing.

Great video Paul. Can’t forget Talas, where he honed his style.

One of the greatest bass players. One of my influences.

Dreams of Discontent from his Cosmic Troubadour album/disc is one of my favorites of his.

Thank you! Billy is genuinely one of the nicest, most genuine people in the world. He is more like the guy next door than a "rock star". And his wife is the same way. But I'm not crazy about his (or anyone else's "lead bass"). I think his bands could use a bass player.

I love Billy Sheehan, his playing is amazing. This video sounds like a put down

With Billy Sheehan's skills on the bass, he should have been a guitarist.

He recorded most of the guitar parts in his solo albums.

Great video as always! I’d love to see a one in the future on either klaus fluoride from Dead Kennedys, Chris #2 from anti flag, or joe lally from fugazi. They’re some of my favorite bassists and they’re really talented.

There are maybe less than 5 people on earth who's finger speed is as fast as Billy Sheenan's.

Would really appreciate it if you made a tutorial on No Doubt’s bassist (Tony Kanal) or just the ska punk era
