Thank you for not recommending First Strike, we Nami players have to deal with the scourge that is auto lock Lucian anyway, but when they still go FS it's so doomed. 13.21 changes to Nami E mean it's her damage and no longer is amplified by FS, so Lucian should not run it with her but they still do.

First strike is better with Nami. Playing Lucian nami you want to have super quick trades. PTA forces you to aa 3 times to proc it which gives enemy lane time to hit back. Because you have to e aa q then aa again to get pta proc. With first strike however you can e aa q which procs all 3 nami e bobbles then use slow to run. It snowballs much harder too which is the whole reason you play Lucian Nami.

just hit challenger otping lucian. i prefer essence reaver over kraken. you dont need more than 35% AS from greaves to weave autos and the AH is tremendously valuable with navori and e cd passive.

Idk if i would call the energized build bait. I get that for the video you have to recommend one build to go every game and the energized is definitely situational and you shouldnt run it every game. But in the right situation (enemy team is mostly all squishies and you have a good lane matchup) it allows you to 1v9 way harder than the traditional build does

Essence reaver is better against squishies (especially after all its buffs), take kraken only if heavy tank comp on enemy side

The bad part about essence reaver (especially for lane phase) is the lack of attack speed, it makes the champion feel very sluggish, slow to punish a wrong step or kite a bruiser. I love essence reaver (especially for the mana regen) but if you have someone to kite (not just tanks) than kraken or stormrazor sounds better

Essence Reaver seems much better, has a 53% winrate compared to 51 of kraken, stormrazor and voltaic.

Ok, look... we need to talk more about win rate baits: there are alternative builds that are hidden op, but most of them are just inflated, meaning that less people pick it and less people win/lose with it, making its data very less reliable

i dont fully agree with your build choice. I think essence reaver>kraken unless you're going vs 2 or more heavy tanks. Essence reaver, navori, lord doms, bt or shieldbow, then rapid fire or rapid fire before those other last 2 items. essence reaver is so good

Idk ive been finding myself in midgame dealing 100 to 200 dmg per autoattack to targets with 3000 health but 0 armor items. Ive been very fed in some games but not been able to deal any kinds of dmg. Even with Lord doms. Ive tried going for collector lord doms in later stages cuz to low armor but still not seeing any good dmg results till 4 or even 5 items

How is your Lucian going now? Lucian has been extremely powerful lately with Navori and Dominik, I'm not sure about PTA but I run First Strike in midlane and it's been pretty succesful - Although the next 14.10 patch will change everything:((

Also hot take I like essence reaver on Lucian, tho I often find it's hard to fit into the build most of the time, mostly cause transcendence and Cdr boots are way more flexible on him. But I need that 30% cdr so 2 passive procs can reset his E at lvl 12.

Maybe it would be good with attack speed boots? Idk, ill check on that sometime, but at least a little attack speed is needed to run this champion cleanly

@@davihlucas6987 attack speed you can get with runes, if berserkers becomes more optimal than lucidity you might as well go for kraken anyways. Once you get used to it it’s really not that bad

almost 1 million point on lucian, why building attack speed boots or the cdr boots on lucian when you have the mobility boot who gave you +60 moovement speed and slow reduc. it's the best one and no one do it. Essence river is the best 1st item on lucian, and you don't need that much CDR reduc because you have navori who gave you with essence river inaf cdr reduction on your Q, W and E, only R has more cdr but's it's fine. And the last thing and that's show no player know how to build lucian well is the rune page, why taking +10% attack speed when you can take +5-9 adaptive damage ? lucian don't need attack speed he need only mobility, damage and cdr so the less attack speed he has, the best he is (trust).

Boots sounds interesting Essence reaver is an option (i dont like it but its a choice) No AS on lucian sounds extremely bad Lucian dont really synergies with attack speed, its not bad since he's a marksman, though it isnt that good. BUT attack speed synergies absurdly well with navori, the faster you attack the quicker your CD comes back, besides that, at the end of the day, lucian is a marksman and you need to kite (not just with the dash) so buying at least one attack speed item, the first one (reason why i dislike essence reaver) makes the champ more clean to play. If you take no attack speed on the champion you actually play him like an AD caster, one without range or any special trait to cover for it
