Super defensive people that do not open up are Marisa's Achilles Heel. Excellent video thank you.

It’s good to attack their gauge and do fhk drc mixups to force a decision out of them if they drive reversal good luck that’s where my wisdom ends lol

I love the content. Your videos have definitely helped me understand more about Marisa. Quite a few of the notes in my playbook are based off of your videos, so thank you so much for the vids and advice. And related to this video, yeah I've been told that I need to start learning how to take ground and make use of fHK into Gladius. It's nice to see it in commentary format so that I can see the same errors I'm making with commentary in the background. I'm also that guy who's recklessly throwing gladius when I have no business doing it. I haven't been punished as consistently yet - grinding my way through Plat 1, but it's getting there. That being said I have some thoughts on the video itself. I'm finding the pause and reverses visually jarring. I'd say maybe record the voice over like you are in this video, but then do a separate recording of the fights all the way through, and then edit it so that the footage matches the voiceover, since you'd have the original video that includes the voice over to reference to make your edits. Examples include: 19:15 where you go play pause play in quick succession and then 19:19 where you suddenly do Previous Scene, and then in 19:29 you do a bunch of pause/plays again. An alternative maybe, depending on how far back you need to reward, maybe use the Reward/Advance Frame buttons, like you did during the last set when you were counting how many frames the Marisa was in parry stance before DR. I'm not sure if the above is feasible for you though due to your schedule...either way even if you keep your current style, love the content. Will be keeping an eye for more, and I do periodically look through your old stuff to learn more stuff in Marisa's toolkit.

I think you vastly overestimate the amount of editing I do on these. It’s pretty much one take over the matches (after watching the sets to make sure I can be instructive) and then I just splice in the training mode segments that I record after I finish going over the matches.

Hey Zack, great vid. I feel like Marisa’s biggest weakness this season is people who just keep jumping around her and go ham and play dumb. This is the reason why big bird quit Marisa. Can you make a vid on the best options we have against that typa player? Also if anybody has suggestions please let me know in comments. I try my best to anti-air but they are just too much with spamming cross-ups.

This is good content man. You need to make your titles and thumbnails better though. Bang some ideas into chat gpt and ask it to give you a list of energetic, click enticing, headlines. For example. This one should be: "How to DOMINATE passive players: street fighter 6 beginners guide"
@ZachHenke3 ай бұрын
I definitely do need to start working on thumbnails, but I really don’t want to do the whole clickbait title thing.
@prawnyb3 ай бұрын
@@ZachHenke it's not clickbait if it's relevant. Otherwise you are like your grandma who doesn't like emails so gets all her bills in the post. It's important to maintain freshness and stay on trend with current digital media culture. Especially in a medium where the way that individuals consume content and interact with platforms can change within an eyeblink. 🤙 Trust me. Its actually my job. It's what I do for a living.

It’s like watching a mirror sorta (use the same color for Marisa lol) but of course, great video once again! A lot of the same things hurting me and I almost felt like giving up on my boo Marisa (from being a Sagat main for so long) but seeing others have the same issues makes me feel less alone in the process of overcoming the mental muck, and bad habits! Thank you once again Zach! I’m gonna watch this a couple more times, just to mental stack it forever 😅
