As a noob, thank you so much for this video before I start playing. I’ve been painting these for years, but never got to play. Now, I finally have some friends to play with and this has been a HUGE help.

Hey mate, just wanted to say thank you for these, and all your videos! They’re great, I haven’t been in the hobby long, only started as a collector but I’ve been more and more inclined to learn how to play, these videos are really helping me out as my brain doesn’t seem to pick it all up just reading from a book! Also after countless failed attempts of getting the mrs to have a go with me, these videos have finally peaked her interest too! Keep up the great work and once again, thank you! From Ipswich, Suffolk

I woke up this morning to make my coffee, looked at my phone to see this notification, I knew immediately what I was going to do during my morning routine. I also sent part 1 to the friend I'll be playing. I just have to get the rest of the minis painted! Good timing though, you will probably be done with this tutorial when we are ready to play! I hope to introduce people over here to war gaming and ME SBG. I will pass them your videos. Thanks for the help!

17:00 it is important to mention that the stand fast rule only applies to broken army courage tests, not all of them (for instance: if the hero successfully passes a courage test on a terror model, the other models within 6 inches must perform a separate courage test in order to charge the same model). Also, the hero must be visible to each of the models within 6 inches to make them skip the courage test (for instance: if there is a model behind a wall within 6 inches, it must perform a courage test separately from the group)

Hey Steve,well done,great informative set of videos! Maybe after this series of how to play videos you could do a series of the most wrongly used/understood rules played in games from your perspective or indeed the wider community! Keep up the great work!

Quick suggestion, when showing examples, maximize the screen and continue teaching about it then come back to your face when covering the theory. Either way, I'll be back in your class when you do the next one!

Hey, I've been wondering how do we resolve a multiple fight. I'll give an example of our fight: 1 gondor shieldman was charged by 4 goblins. In my movement phase I joined him with 2 another gondor models. All 3 gondors touched their bases (roughly stayed in somekind of a row), all 4 goblins touched my man in the middle and also the 2 goblins from the sides was touched by my 2 joining gondor knights. How do we resolve this the proper way? Is it a 3 vs 4 fight? or 4 vs 1 and then 1vs1 and 1vs1 (but then the 2 goblins from the sides fight 2 times)? Or should we separate this like 2 vs 1 man in middle, 1 vs 1 joined and on the other side 1 vs 1 joined? Sorry if this sounds a bit not clear. Maybe someone will know how to play this. We got a lot of multiple fights due to horde characteristc of goblins.

Question about in the ways. I understand good models will not shoot into combat when it would risk another friendly model. But in your examples givin no part of Lurtz was covered by Farmer maggot, making it so there would be no in the way roll. So would I not be able to take the shot?

Question about charging and zone control. If you were say 6.5 inches away from a model and moved your full 6 towards it (entering it's zone of control but no base contact) what happens?
@TopTableGaming4 жыл бұрын
+BobbyBaconHat your not allowed. You can’t enter the cz if you don’t have enough movement to complete the charge. So you’d have to stop 1” out from the enemy model
