Haven’t heard of the playing the alternating dominants and diminished scale. Heard about that with 6 chords and the diminished scale. Sounds sick.

This is dope. I thought on minor 7b5 we think the minor 6 diminished Bm7b5=Dmin6diminished. Where’d you come up with this scale? It sounds lovely. E7b9=Fdiminished and C7 … some mysterious secret scale! Sick

It’s literally Dmin6 diminished starting on B instead of D.

Close, but they’re different. The first is kinda of a combo of harmonic and melodic minor. . D minor 6 diminished scale= DEFGABbBC# = Dmin6 + E dim This scale= D E F G Ab BbBC = F dim+ C7 Sooo, yah, name that scale above? It has 3 half steps in a row. Exotic territory.

Dude… it’s music. You learn from others about harmony. Original? Who’s been totally original in harmony in 2022? Study the greats! With only 12 notes, people have kinda of figured out most of everything and then they apply. Actually, this f dim plus C7 scale is unique and not too many, if any, people are talking about it and using it. It’s gorgeous!
