Thank you for this. Its def a good starting guide to know where to go. I'm probably going a bit overkill here and doing the total Overhaul and It says 362 mods hahaha. This is easier than how I use to mod Morrowind with the TES Construction Set. I literally broke the game when I was younger. Also resized a lot of the stuff for just pure amusement

Let me know how the mod pack goes! I had trouble on the RP2+ with basically any HD texture mod or the like.

@@RetroBreezeYT I picked all MQ so far. This process is taking forever unfortunately because there's no ALL-IN-ONE bundles. I finished downloading recently and the annoying merging all into DATA folder mostly going into Textures and Meshes along with other stuff

@@RetroBreezeYT I got it all sorted out. 12 hours. I don't think all the mods are on there correctly due to how all the folders were and I did a crap ton of overwriting files and the ones I could tell I picked the textures I wanted. 362 mods turned out to be like 700 folders I had to dig through. What a nightmare. But the game boots and hasn't crashed yet and looks good

This might be worth a revisit with the pocket 4 pro coming out. Maybe a curated mod list to make the game look as amazing as possible. I’m attempting to get as much of I heart vanilla running on my old RP3 as possible right now. This video was helpful.

@@RetroBreezeYT couldn’t get “gamepad cursor speed” to take in settings.cfg (for menu pointer) but everything else is working. Edit: never mind, I forked the Android version, fixed the cursor speed and updated OpenMW - now it’s perfect

It baffles me how it seems every developer ever is missing out on this niche of mobile game development. I can't think of any other TES-like games for mobile (other than TES emulated by mobiles).

It's simply not worth it to make a game like that over a gatcha focused Live service game with a short gameplay loop. Previous attempts were never very successful (Ravensword Shadowlands and Aralon).

sadly I dont think the RP2+ can run gothic, as the game does not have a working android port yet. I have also been looking for a way to play gothic on the go, however from what I've seen, you will absolutely need a windows running or proton capable device.

Hey, i want to thank you for this awesome video that you have put out. Also, there's this slight problem, that i can't change the resolution in game, it's always stuck at 2340x1080. I tried to change it on the openmw app but when i open settings in game, the resolution didn't change it's still 1080p. So, maybe you have a solution for this problem. Because, changing resolution helps to improve performance and battery life on my phone

You could try the previous version of the app instead of the newest one. I've heard several people say it's better.
