Important tip : Don't stim before jumping on a Jump Pad. It doesn't cover more ground. Rather stim after landing to maximize speed.

You can also stim a bit before landing so you don't have to go through the animation once you land

Fax lol, I literally had a game in ranked where our random octane was running to circle to get the respawn, I think in ring 3? But he was close to getting to circle and could’ve made it if he just kept running, but he decided to stim and die 😂 it’s funny now but I was heated then lol

I’m an octane main, and if ever land at lifelines clinic I absolutely ABUSE my stim (and health at that) if I’m fighting on the main floor. You can run across the central pad and instantly get your health back. Kind of niche situation tip, but if you land there as an octane, go nuts

Obviously this is not my channel so I have zero say in how to do anything with the operations but I feel like with this new series of "How to Play X Legend" with you giving us tips and tricks to hopefully better our gameplay with said legend is have a few videos come out afterwards playing that legend in the current season as some buffs and or nerfs could occur since the making of some of the gameplay shown. Season 8 was the 23 bomb you got with Oct but how do he fair in the current season? I mean one easy way to know is straight up play the game myself or look at patch notes but we all aren't giga chads at the game such as yourself so it'd be nice to see you dominate again with that legend, I'm not saying anything crazy like a 4K 20 bomb but just good movement and kills and what you do best. Just a thought I had while watching some recent videos and as always all up to Ottr. Sorry for the long comment. Potato.

Pro tip: slide before hitting/using the jump pad, it covers a lot of ground!

Not a pro tip, you can literally crouch walk into it and cover the same distance. Meaning you get no advantage with a running start

@@slimygoon9993 yes it works when you're crouched but crouching does kill your momentum, if you're running or chasing, it is a very good idea to slide into it rahter then crouching walking on to it

This comment is a bit late but i have hound if you have an extra arc start, you cna get a pad to low health and when you get low, throw the arc star near the pad and use it so you cant be followed

Yet again, Ottr drops the content ball smh 🤦‍♂️ Also, recommending Octanes carry syringes and no med kits is idiotic. If you carry only med kits you gain a free stim whenever healing health. People don’t use Octane for health regen, they play him for quick aggression. Obviously. The contents been ass for a while but it keeps getting worse.
