@@kaanseyhun7041 It is a solid device. I find that the stand alone games are kinda blurry. For Steam VR, it gets frustrating when there isn't a controller layout for Pico. Also the blacks seem too dark. I also think that quest has better tracking. Balanced headset is super nice. I wonder about the Quest 3, but I can hold off with Pico 4

@@eineatombombe Steam vr doesn't detect Pico 4. The pc doesn't detect Pico 4 with the usb connected, except as a drive. Also, when wireless is tried in streaming assistant on pico 4, it says the pc streaming assistant isn't the latest version. It the latest version. Also, Pico link on PC says that the graphics card driver is not up to date even though it is. Lastly, on both Pico link and streaming assistant on PC, it says that the latest 'Pico driver install failed'. Nothing I can do to resolve it currently. The cable I'm using worked for my oculus quest so it should be fine.

Having steamVR cannot find Headset PICO 4 issue. Finally resolve this issue, by having STEAM, run as Administrator mode. Headset detected immediately by PICO streaming assistant.

Virtual Desktop blows both Pico streaming options out of the water, as I'm sure you share when your video is out. Bandwidth, and latency much better on VD.

@@benkekovax No, zero would be impossible on a wireless connection, plus you won't even perceive anythign below around 20-30ms so zero is unimportant. I can say that playing Beat Saber last night with VD was a breeze and with the right setup (ie a dedicated 5Ghz or Wifi6 router connected via ethernet to your main router, with the PC also connected to that router and NO other wireless devices connected) then VD wireless is sensational.

@@benkekovax Althooough, you could try and use a wireless audio headset like the Logitech G435 LIGHTSPEED to have a lower latency while still being on wireless. You would then have to redirect the sound to the G435 instead of the VR headset itself. This solution has proven to be better than most with my damn bad oculus quest 2's air link.

The best way is to have your PC connected to your router via ethernet cord, and then the headset via 5 GHz Wifi (in the wireless case ofc). The data transfer rate is then defined by the bandwidth of your router's 5 GHz transfer speed. Here it is important to remember that your actual internet speed has nothing to do with this. Also, 5 GHz Wifi is notoriously badlky affected by any obstacles in the way, even people, so router placement is important.

What has the router got to do with your wifi streaming? It is the Wireless Access Point to be precise. I see most YTs making the same mistake of equating the built in router WAP with a WAP that is seperate.

The internet speed doesn't make a difference. I did a video on this that you don't even need an internet connection technically. You still get a better connection with a better router though for example WiFi 6

It’s all about bandwith. Doesn’t matter of it is USB-c plug in both ends. It must be USB-C on the side you plug into your headset though. BUt on the PC side it doesn’t matter as long as it has the bandwidth of USB 3.0 - which USB C has. Many use their Quest 2 cable and that is USB C plug on both ends.

There is a way yes! to play non vr games on like a large virtual tv screen is what u mean right? well idk if the pico 4 alone can do it but if u connect it to your pc you can buy a program called Vorpx. its like 40 dollars i believe though. But its cool because it also turns games that are non vr games into vr but i think thats with games that have been moded to do so on vorpx. not sure how it works but the really popular functional ones are resident evil bio hazard and resident evil village i believe, those work really good for not being a native vr game. But you can also get a cool virtual room to watch Netflix on a big screen, or play games that are not vr like diablo 2 and any other game you own on pc for that matter.

I also have been playing wired vian the usb c on headset to my usb on computer. Playing Skyrim vr and it definitely is charging. I've played for hours and the battery has never fallen below 80% so I believe i could play indefinitely. I don't think all usb c to usb 3.0 cables are created equal though. I bought one here in China and i think it's made (wired) specifically so yhat it charges well while allowing the game streaming. It was a bit more expensive then the cheaper ones but definitely worth it.

Starting to suspect maybe there's something faulty *somewhere*. If I find a fix I'll update here in case anyone else needs it as well but if someone knows or has ideas, please reply here also :D

Driver-wise it would be a bit of a needle in a haystack sort of thing (and weird since Quest2 works with no problems) - I wonder if buying VD will help but I'm a bit doubtful over paying 20$ for a test Edit: Welp, VD works lol, though my wifi is not strong enough to have a good experience it confirmed error is between the streaming link software and steamvr

I have just purchased a PICO4 while on holidays in Japan and I live in Australia. my question is that is not connecting to the USB3 or wifi, but the system requirements is saying that I need more ram and a better video card. I would think it would stop you yes. Pico xr .com have a contact us on the website. You could try downloading remoteplayassitant from pico and see if you can play videos through that to see. If that works then it sounds like an upgrade may be needed

It sounds like a driver needs updating. Update your gpu driver and make sure windows and everything is upto date. Also make sure you firewall isnt blocking the app. Does it work wirelessly?
