To reset your controllers you don't need to reinsert the batter cartridge - just hold color buttons on each controller for 10s and they will be rebooted.

The pancake lenses are a complete gamechanger for me in VR. My last few headset were all using the Fresnel lenses, and i never really had a sharp picture. Will never go back to fresnels thats for sure. Thanks for the awesome vid!

Good morning. Could you confirm, that controllers work correct with rechargable Li-Ion 1.2 [Volt] units? (the problem was with HP Reverb G2 when controllers require 1,5 Volts to fully functional work)

Hello great video, my son bought me a pico 4 in the uk, but I live in Panama, he bought it when they first came out, I hope to recieve it in December, my question is will I have a problem using my pico and downloading games from another country, I know I have to register from the UK, regards

It might cause an issue but only because they haven’t released in every country yet - maybe use a vpn with your Wi-Fi network

it’s not available for mobile casting yet which is why it probably freezes - I did see an update come out yesterday though so I’m not sure if that’s fixed it.

Hey, I've seen you say that it looks better on video and not as good in real life. Does that mean it's bad and blurry? I've also seen you say that it can be blurry from the edges, is that true? I'm coming from a Quest 2, will it be better? Thanks!

All the recordings you see on KZbin on headset for games and pass through alway look better than the real thing . Pasthrough sucks on the pico 4 also because it’s flat. The quest 3 and pico have grainy slightly blurry passthrough. This is still fine for mixed reality games. Every headset has a sweet spot of focus which is the middle circle. At the edges they lose sharpness. The worst example is the psvr2. If you’re playing pc games on Pico they are better and the images on standalone games are marginally better. For me though the overall package is better on quest 3. It’s just my opinion though so read other reviews as well. So I'm using a 13th gen i9 13900, a 4090, 64GB, 1300w PSU, and I'm wired to a 5Ghtz router but getting about 450-550Gbps on it. I've uploaded and am running the latest version of Virtual Desktop, and OpenXR. Yet when I try to run it on MSFS202 it stutters and hesitates to the point where I can't even, or don't even want to fly. Do you know perhaps why I am experiencing this stuttering? I even bought a long USB 3 cable to run the headset plugged in, and found no improvement. Is it likely my internet connection speed that is causing this? Thanks in advance !

My Pico 4 works fine in PCVR with Steam games (Assetto Corsa and others). I picked Pico 4 for its pancake lenses and 4k resolution. Very happy with its performance. PS. Purchase Virtual Desktop from Pico App store (not Steam).

I'm very happy with it. I only use it with PC games though (stream to the headset with Virtual Desktop Streamer, $20), if you are interested in Pico's own app library, it's quite limited.@@haze782 Also the stock battery life is short and the front facemask wasn't so comfortable. After I upgraded both of them for about $125 total everything was perfect. This is my first VR headset so I can't compare with others but for the price, I think it's excellent quality. Keep in mind if you want to use with PC games like I do you should have a decent speed GPU, probably 3080 or equivalent or faster. I would research that though.

Hi Paul, sorry for the delay. So with Pico the really cool thing is you can plug a usbc pen drive into the side of the headset and then select the drive and play your video clips straight from the drive. Standard video clips will play in a virtual cinema. The 360 clips will also play here at first and you then need to change the screening options so that it’s fully immersive. It doesn’t support the insta code so you’ll have to convert it first via the app or the studio. Alternatively you can plug the headset into your desktop and drag the files straight into the files folder and you’ll see this as a separate folder in your headset. Hope this helps

Can you make a video on how to get the second controller to work in games? I got a game called “garden of the sea” but only the right controller works. The battery isn’t empty. I have been excited to play the game for so long just for everything to be stuck in inventory and not being able to do anything.

You need to step away from your guardian boundary or you can make the boundary bigger. You might also be able to make it less sensitive. I was stood to close which is why it came up.

Download the pico app as well and then sign into your local network using your Wi-Fi password - I think the code then appears in the headset or in the app I can’t remember exactly but I know you need the app.

Apparently you can use streaming assistant but I haven’t used it - but I’m not sure if this will allow you to connect for the very first time as I think you need your mobile. You could use a friends mobile just for the initial connection.

Yes you can, you have this option when you set up your guardian boundary. There are a lot of great games you can play seated as well.
