For the first hand why not go Dragonshrine dump darkwurm, summon it, search gate magician, effect to get gate normal summon double iris, link away into beyond the pendulum, search another double iris scale it, pend summon gate magician and double iris, cl1 gate cl2 beyond, pop both double iris search both graphs wings of light search 2nd gate magician, effect to summon it, then make absolute and search with graph to get i.e. purple poison, link away into whatever (selene to then make apo?) so you get the vortex dragon that way you get both graphs up, with trap + purple poison thats a good chunk of extra removal AND search for next turn

The line I go for is to play around Nibiru, since the line you mention also loses to the same handtraps + Nibiru

I think playing endymions + gate king darkwurm package is the best way. Servant is just the best card in existence for pends right now. deck makes 2-3 negates + 2-3 disruptions and u can also search secret vilage of spellcasters.

Ooo bro is cooking- we need to test this and have a deck profile that is consistent. Im playing one of triffs endymion deck on a budget which he made 2 or 3 years ago. It sadly has no room for Hand traps yet it plays so well I would love to see an endymion + gate king 👀

You could have made ignister to pop double iris to get to time pend graph and link it then to i:p. If you would go through beyond you could add purple poison. So you have 2 more interruptions.

At 00:43 you pendulum summoned Supreme King Gate Magician which was light attribute, but the darkwurm effect locks you into pendulum summoning dark, is it correct?

No, the darkwurm scale effect is what locks you into pendulum summoning darks. I only used the monster effects in these combos

Cool trap but it requires way too much ED space. You have to run the actual dimension dragons and can’t use the magician versions as substitutes. All of that for Z-Arc is just not worth it.

If the situation comes up in game 1 then you end up having to let I:P into S:P carry you. In game 2 and 3 if you know Superpoly could come up then you play Secret Village of the spellcaster which should be in your side deck to play around it

If they Nibiru you, just Pendulum summon. You will still make a very solid board after the Nibiru, that's the idea behind it

I have Pendulum magician, but not on this list, the deck without crossout is very bad against hand traps like nibiru and droll, playing around it is boring, great video, but I don't recommend doing the list, very heavy 3x impermanence (my opinion) because the most difficult thing about playing with a pendulum is taking nibiru and droll, basically anti-game, but I understand that they want to risk taking these interactions.

In his defense he is playing 3 cards for exactly that. Called by negates droll, tactics punishes droll players by hand ripping. As for nibiru a lot of these lines are actually playing around nibiru. It’s actually a good deck just sucks we’re in a bad format with snake eyes powercreeping everything.

The new Gate magician is nuts. Wisdom eye and Gate Magician are both cards that if you draw multiple, they don't brick you. Darkwurm makes Dragon Shrine an E tele with more steps. Either through searching, or if you hard draw Gate Magician and Lightwurm, you can use magician to set scales, normal to add your magician back, then special it to make Beyond, and add your missing scale to pend them back. It's ceiling is pretty low, and definitely struggles, but is by far the most consistent pendulum deck. 14 of your cards start your combo, 17 if you count wisdom eye, so bricking becomes way less likely.
